Chapter 6: You Baka!

Sakura looked back at her phone, trying to find their hideout. "Where are you hiding?" Sakura searched for Naruto for what seemed like hours. Sakura was growing frustrated. At this rate...He was as good as dead.

She went around Konoha looking for him. Luckily she didn't bump into any gang members... But she spoke to soon. A hand clasped over her mouth and another on her waist. She flinched in pain as a knife pierced through her skin. Sakura elbowed the person in the ribs and made a run for it.

He grabbed her by her hoodie and threw her back against the cold, hard concrete. Sakura grabbed an empty bottle next to her lunged it against his head. The man passed out, face first. Sakura slowly got up, placing a hand on her wound. She was breathing hard and limping out of the alley, making her way to Naruto.

"You better be alive Uzumaki....Or else all of this would be for nothing."

"RISE AND SHINE DORK! Breakfast is ready!" Naruto opened his eyes slowly drawing his attention to the voice. Light hit Naruto's eyes and he cringed at the contact. "Hm?" The man threw his plate on the floor and walked over to Naruto, grabbing him by his hair. "Look at me boy. LOOK AT ME!" Naruto drew his eyes towards him. "You don't know who your messing with! Don't give me that tone, YA HEAR?!"

Naruto closed his eyes, trying not to show pain. "Y-Yes sir." The man let go of his hair, letting Naruto fall on his chest. "Good. Now eat up! We need ya alive until she gets her." The man said with a smirk.

Naruto shakily took the plate and ate slowly. 'What have I done?...My parents are probably worried...I knew I shouldn't fall in love with a delinquent. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid..' Naruto thought to himself.

After Naruto finish, he layed on the floor. He let the cold chains touch his skin. Soon enough, he heard a gunshot come from outside. "She's here! Gather all the men! Surround her! Don't let her escape with the boy!"

'Sakura!' Naruto thought eagerly. Gunshots were heard all around the building. Men were screaming....It was basically all blood and gore up in there. Naruto clung to the bars of his cell and looked around for something to help him escape.

Nothing. Sakura was risking her life for him and he was sitting in a cage like a damsel in frickin distress. After a while, Naruto gave up and sat back down, looking at the concrete floor.

"Naruto!" A voice called out to him. 'Am I dying? Is that an angel calling after me?' Naruto silently thought to himself. "Naruto?! Are you there?!" Naruto soon came to his senses and noticed it was an angel! It was the pink-haired angel who saved his heart from loneliness!

She soon creeped up at the corner and noticed Naruto laying there with his back face her. "Naruto! You're alive I can't believe I found you!" Naruto turned around and met face to face with the angel. She was all Bloody. She had a deep cut on her stomach and she had a couple scratches on her arms and legs. She had a cut beside her lip and a small bruise under her eye, but even all serious and Bloody... She still looked perfect and beautiful to him.

Naruto moved slowly towards her, trying to look strong. "Stay put Naruto! I'll get you out of he-"SAKURA!" Naruto called out to her. Sakura's eyes were wide. She slowly looked down to her stomach and noticed a bullet had just shot her. She looked back at Naruto and collapsed on the floor. "Sakura! Sakura! Please you can't go! I-I-"

"Well. Well. Well. Looks like you can't win Haruno. Your little " friend" is gonna die because of you. Too bad. " Sakura looked over at Naruto, a tear coming down her face. Naruto looked back at her, tears threatening to fall. The man walked up to Naruto and grabbed his hair. He held a gun over his head, Naruto closed his eyes, waiting for impact.

A gunshot bellowed through the building. The man looked at his chest in shock before collapsing. "I always win." Sakura said before falling on her knees. Naruto crawled towards her unsure of what to do. "S-Sakura?" Sakura was breathing heavily, which really worried Naruto. "Y-You can make it S-Sakura!"

"Oh s-shut-up." Naruto looked at her. She looked up at him smiling. 'How can she joke around at a time like this?'

Sakura slowly lifted her shirt and sat up. She grabbed a piece of broken glass. "Sakura w-what are you -" She slid the glass over her cut and arched her back due to the pain. Naruto watched in horror. "S-Sakura you're hurting yourself!" She took out the bullet and finally layed on the concrete again with heavy breathing.

"S-Sakura?" He waited a minute, letting her catch her breath and answer. "Yeah?" H-How are you so brave? " Sakura chuckled but cringed in pain. Naruto tried to help but she shook him off. "I'm not brave Naruto. I'm just dumb." 'She called me Naruto... For like the first time.'

"Sissy much?" Naruto blinked simultaneously trying to comprehend. "Huh?" Sakura grinned. "I know your making a big deal about me calling you by your name for the first time." Naruto grew red. "W-Wha? N-No I'm not." Sakura shook her head. "Don't get used to it though." Naruto's face fell. "A-Alright." Sakura slapped his arm playfully. "I'm kidding dude! Lighten up."

Naruto smiled and rubbed his arm. 'How does she have this much force still?' "Come on. Let's get out of here." Naruto helped Sakura up and made their way out the building.

"PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM!" They both lifted their hands in the air. "Naruto! My poor baby!" His mother called out. She went to hug him. Minato spoke through a megaphone. "Take her away!" They lunged Sakura on the floor and arrested her. "Wait Dad?! What's going on?!"

"Get away from here Naruto! Kushina take Naruto to the hospital." Kushina nodded and helped him on the ambulance. "Wait stop! She saved my life!"

"I'm sorry son. But that's not all this girl has done." The police dropped her in the police car. Sakura looked at Naruto sadly from the window. Naruto looked at her and she looked away, as if she was ashamed. 'Why her?...'
