 I know love,

and it's all push and shove,

so stop talking.

Thump.

Slowly but cautiously, I flipped my head around. Breathing a sigh of relief, I continued to walk. But with a faster pace. This country might be a peaceful and safe one, but not for me.

Thump. Thump.

This time, I ran for my life.

~

The grocery bags I was sporting in my hands fell to the ground with a resounding thwap.

Hanging my keys onto the key holder, I crashed on the couch. Today had been a near one. If I didn't do something about this soon, news about me dying will be all over the magazines instead of news about what I wear everyday.

Resting the laptop on my lap, I typed in 'Martial Arts in Dubai'. Billions of search results popped up. Scrolling through the list, I found a promising club going by the name of "William's".

I hastily gathered all their information and e-mailed them. Their response was very instant and I was to join them from tomorrow. I suppose that's soon enough.

Dropping the laptop onto the couch, I got up and yawned loudly. Today was extremely tiring and my legs burned from the workout the chase had given them. Deciding on treating myself with a hot shower later, I grabbed all the grocery bags and stocked my fridge and cabinets up.

Now, it was time for a yummy hot bath.

Stripping out of my clothes and shooting them into the hamper, I rested in the tub. I moaned in bliss. As relaxing and amazing hot baths are, they get very boring. But being the genius I am, I found the solution to this too.

Subway Surf!

Tring. Tring. Tring. Badadaap. Tring. Tring.

Yup. That's all you'll hear when I'm playing this game. Generally, I'm pretty modest but when it comes to Subway Surf, I gotta pat myself on the back. I mean, a score of 982351. It's unbeatable. I bet you.

Feeling the water grow cold, I wrapped a towel around my body and stepped out. I walked into my closet and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a tank top. Comfort first, right?

Drying my hair with a towel, I jumped into my bed and sank. I relayed todays events in my head. Why would anybody want to kill me? I'm really beginning to get tired of these attempts. They need to stop. As the dark abyss of sleep started to tug at me, I promised myself one thing; I was going to put an end to all of this.

First day of martial arts. Wish me luck!

Wondering why I never took any self defence classes when I knew i was in grave danger? Well. I'll let you in on one secret. I'm a lazy ass. There! I admitted it. Father had requested me to join some sort of classes on several occasions , but I refused each time. I mean, who needs martial arts when you've got dozens of bodyguards?

Well, the answer is simple. Me.

I realised this after every attack but was always too lazy. But the limits had now been crossed. I couldn't risk this anymore. I had to learn to protect myself. Before the soil is protecting my body which is buried 7 feet under.

Warm air kissed my skin as I stepped foot in William's. So did the odour of sweat. Except, it didn't kiss my skin. It kissed my nose in the sloppiest and yuckiest manner.
