You’re lying on the ground beautifully still;
Such an invitation to lye beside you seemed surreal
The fact we’re together, I can’t help but notice
It really feels like I am being teased
Your femininity is exposed as sunshine reflects upon your face
The scent of your skin is too good enough for me to taste
The wind is taking advantage of your silence
As your hair sways away from your face, baring your innocence
Suddenly I reached out for your hand to touch you
Please don’t move away I just don’t know what to do
For a moment we’re one until I feel you retreat
What a silent form of my humiliating defeat
I content myself from watching you like this
Though my heart still desire for just one kiss
Perhaps one day I’ll gather some courage to show myself
To confess what it is that you don’t know before it’s too late
That we’re different from each other
Mortality stops us from being together
I’m way too apart from due to the nature of my existence
An undefined being that is more than a spirit living in pretense
That one day, unexpectedly you fall for me
Holding your hand, I’ll take you to my place
It’s the only beautiful but broken dream I have,
Here in my heart I will forever embrace.
