Lexa's P.O.V

Clark and I exit the elevator. "Have a great night Miss Woods." The woman at the front desk says to me politely. I look at her, nod with a smile, and reply back, "thank you. For you as well."

We reach the main door and the doorman opens it for us. He hands me the keys. "Thank you," I tell him as I receive the keys, "have a good night."

"Thank you. You too Miss Woods." he replies back, grabbing the tip of his hat and tilting it down as a genteel gesture.

I unlock my Porsche then I grab the door of the passenger seat and open it for Clark. "Thank you," she says gratefully. "Anything for you." I reply. I close her door and head to the drivers side and enter the vehicle. I drive off. Admittedly, I try to make the engine roar by driving faster to impress Clark and it does.

It's been a while and we both haven't talked. The only time we did was when Clark had to give me her address. I should talk. I have to. I talk to people all the time but for some reason it is just so difficult to talk to Clark. I have the fear of saying something uninteresting or stupid.

Finally, she says something. "Why do you want to be drawn and not have like a photo shoot or something?" She questions.

"I don't have a legitimate answer for that. It is simply a matter of preference. I like old school in the sense of art and music." I explain to her.

"Like the smooth jazz that you were playing as I was painting you?" She remembers.

I nod. "Yes exactly. I'm just classic you may say. I do have photo shoots and all but I want my main image, or the image I would be remembered by, to be a painting," I explain to her my aspiration.

"I'll make sure your painting will be unforgettable." She says. I give her a warm smile at her and she smiles back.

"You have a lot of power for such a young age." She says. "Family," I say, "it's the family business, Tikru Industries started way way back. Don't get me wrong I had to work my way up. That and I usually get what I want, I'm known for that. " I tell her and give her a smirk. She looks down and gives a cute smile. I get butterflies. I haven't felt this way in a long while. It's done. I want Clark. I'm falling for her.

We arrived. I parked in front of the building that her apartment is in. "Thank you for giving me a ride. I really appreciate it." She says.

"No problem." I reply.

She opens the door and steps out. "Goodnight Lexa." She says. "Goodnight Clark." And she closes the door.

I watch as she walks to her door. I should ask her on a date. Should I? Should I not? What do I do? She's leaving and I have to make a choice fast. Just do it!

I rapidly get out of the car and run to the door. "Clark wait!" I shout. She turns around, "Lexa?"

"I was wondering..." I say and she looks at me with those blue eyes that prevents any more words from coming out. Blues eyes like the ocean, waves crashing into the shore which is my heart. I can't speak. She has me stuck, tied, trapped. Anything keeping me from speaking. My lips tremble.

Talk!

I shout to myself in my head.

"Would you like too..."

What as I going to say next?

"Have some dinner, or maybe grab a cup of coffee in the morning, or go to watch a movie if your into that. Anything else your into I can make it happen. Would you like too?" I ask nervously. I grin sheepishly.

There is a pause, she doesnt speak but then she gives me a warm smile, "yeah I'd like too. Tomorrow?"

I nod, "tomorrow is great. What is it you want to do and at what time?"

"Coffee like around 8 would be awesome." She says.

"I'll be here." I say.

"Alright. Goodnight or you have something more to tell me?" She jokes with a small laugh.

I chuckle, "no that was it. Have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow." I say opening the door for her.

"Goodnight." And she walks in.

I walk back to my door. I can't believe I did that. Odd how I can speak in front of a bunch of stuck up rich businessmen but I get madly nervous asking a girl out. But this is not a girl. This is Clark. At least I did it. You think she thought I was adorable? I hope so.

Now at this point, the nervousness rushes out of my body and the excitement kicks in. I can't wait.
