How can you live with a heart that is always angry?
With fists ready to hit?
With a flaring temper?
How can you live without peace?
We sit here day by day expecting somebody to apologise for doing us wrong, for someone to spark the anger building inside so I can 'show them who I am'
Who do you think you are and what are you doing?
You are not at peace.
You will never be at peace.
Who said the world has to agree for you to be at peace with your brother, sister, neighbour, teacher, friends or your enemies?
Give an answer I will sit down.
Until then listen to me!
I'm not asking you, I am demanding your attention.
Look at who you have become you are at war with the world.
Look at the dark hole that is where your heart is.
Look at the cuts and bruises that are all over your body and soul.
Look at your soul and tell me if that is the real you.
Are you familiar with the person you see in the mirror every day?
Are you familiar with the anger in you and have no idea where it came from?
I am not familiar with the world.
I am familiar with my reflection because she smiles back at me with tears rolling down her face.
I am familiar with the person I talk to everyday.
I am familiar with my heart.
I am familiar with my soul.
I am familiar with PEACE.
Peace is not when I go to sleep and forget what made me mad today or how someone crossed me, just so I could wake up tomorrow and feel the pain again,
Peace is when I kneel down on one knee ask my saviour for forgiveness if I wronged someone today.
Peace is asking for forgiveness because you have not forgiven someone who wronged you.
Peace is looking into your soul and seeing the reason you wake up everyday with a smile on your face.
Peace is finding your inner calmness and being happy with what you have.
Peace is looking into the sky and seeing the Lord stare at you and wave.
You are not at peace if you fight yourself about forgiving, giving and loving.
You need LOVE to be at PEACE
Not the love we want to be love.
The love of your parents, boy/girl friend, spouse is not even close to the love of God.
It could never compare to that of the Lord.
No love is as undying as the love of God.
God does not judge you by your sins but by your heart and righteousness.
God forgives you for everything,
So who are you not to forgive if the Almighty forgives?
God's love is the greatest gift of life because no love can be as pure as his, no love can be compared to his and no love is as enriching as the love of the Almighty.
Take a look in the mirror and tell me if you love yourself and God.
Tell me if you are at peace with yourself and those around you.
If you are, congratulations!
You have found the secret to a prosperous and joyful life.
