Chapter Two

"Eli! Eli! Wake up!!" I opened my eyes and weakly rubbed my head

"Jason..?" I sat up and my eyes grew wide "Ah..where are we...we were just.."

He reached his finger out and put it on my lips. Oh god it had been so long since I've last seen him. He had always protected me, ever since we were both little.

"Let me talk" He mummbled softly and then stood up offering a hand. I took it and tugged myself up.

"Okay" I nodded and prepared to listen. "We were looking for you ever since you left the group two months ago, which I must add. Was the stupidist thing you have done since...ever!"

He glared at me and I looked away sighing. I know what your thinking 'what group? How many stupid things do you do?'

And I have to tell you. It wasn't my fault. The Red Warriors had a member that I didnt find the mind to deal with.

He is reckless and stupid and always has it out for me. He isn't in the group anymore but he still betrays me even now. You guessed it. Mark.

Anyway.

Mark was in the group and I got fed up with him and left. Smart right?

"Well we searched for you but Mark left saying we wasted our time. You know how my brother is..." Jason mutter.

And yes. Mark is his brother. I was looking for Jason in purple town back there. The odds are in my favor today.

"So we went to the Purple area to see if Ella knew anything , she did, she told us you where looking for our old hideout to find me. But when I went I just saw Mark. He wasnt happy to see me and...we fought a little, but he eventually spilled the beans after I beat the shit out of him. And then we got to the kings kingdom to fetch you. Your welcome"

Jason smirked and I felt my cheeks flush in a light pink "You didnt have to save me...I could of handled myself"

I spoke keeping up my tough act. "You call letting them steal your Binds handling it?"

He asked anger in his voice. Where did that anger come from..? "...not exactually but.. I wouldnt let them get my gold."

I lied and looked away only to flinch as he grabbed my chin and faced my head torwards him

"You worried me sick Eli. You know how worried I get about the King and you." He muttered and I felt my heart beating , pounding against my chest.

"Yeah..yeah I know" I mummbled and he moved his hand and ran it through his hair

"Eli..you have to be more careful. You being a light and all. If you where normal your binding would be gone forever because of him!"

He stated and I sighed "I know Jason I know!" I stated and Jason's jaw tightened "I'm getting on your nerves?"

He asked softly and I shook my head "No...I'm...well...that machine...it.." I looked away and sighed

"It scared me pretty bad...and it...hurt so bad" I admitted and I shivered thinking about just how much it had hurt.

"...Eli" He leaned forward and hugged me from behind my eyes going small and my heart beating fastly once more.

"J-Jason I'm okay though!"I reasurred him and He smiled and hugged me tighter.

"I know..Eli..I know" He mummbled softly before releasing me and walking down the hall.

"Rest up some more and meet us in the meeting hall. We have things to talk about."

He stated and I watched him go my heart yearning him to stay hugging me but I wasnt going to show those feelings.

Besides. Sleep sounded very nice. I walked into the quarters and laid down, this time no Ella was needed. I passed out. And before you knew it I was in a deep dream. And what is it I dream about you ask?

"Mmm.." I rubbed my eyes waking up , as my eyes adjusted to the light I saw a figure in my quarters and my chest tightened up as I sat up sweat pouring down my face.

"Its ....gone?" I mumbled out in shock and hesitently rose to my feet from my bed.

"Whats was that" I muttered and started breathing normal breaths instead of my hitched scared ones.

Slowly I walked out of the room full attention and in alarm of anything that moved.

"Eli?" A rough voice shocked me and I spun around only to see Kei.

"Are you okay?" He asked next and I grew confused "what makes you think I'm not?" I asked hesitently.

"....You're sweating and you're crying" He stated and a I slowly brought a finger to my face and felt the one tear strolling down my cheek and I sighed and wipped it.

"I'm okay...I..." I bit my cheek and shook my head "Take me to Jason!" I requested and tensed up.

"Please"

Kei nodded and started walking looking back to make sure I was following.

"Here he is!" Kei announced walking into the main room.

"Eli glad to see you're awake you slept for a thousand years!" Jason exclaimed and teasingly smirked.

"I slept well thanks for asking" I mocked back and walked up to him and crossed my arms "So. Whats our plan now?" I asked and sighed.

"We're going to the Red Binds Territory Bridge" Jason claimed staring at me as I felt my body tense up and eyes grow small.

"Y-you know how High that bridge is" I asked in a high voice out of fear.

"I know but I'll be there!" He claimed and smiled with a playful wink.

"F-Fine" I groaned and we went to pack up our things.

This better be worth it
