The moment I laid my eyes on him, I couldn't bear to look away. His hair looked so silky soft. His eyes looked so bright and radiant. His smile always made my heart pound. His voice was sweet like honey. He was just beautiful.

I instantly fell for him. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I kept tripping over myself to make him look at me just once. That didn't work. When I first talked to him, it was because I was dared to. I remember the first time I went up to him.

"Um, hi! I just wanted to say that I really like your hair. It looks really nice!"

"Oh thank you."

Then he showed me that adorable smile. I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted to run my fingers through his hair. I just couldn't stop thinking about him. My mind wouldn't let me.

One day I told my friend about him. He told me that he's in the same journalism class as him.

"Really?!?"

"Yeah. He's really nice and easy to talk to."

He continues to talk about him and I keep smiling at hearing how great he is.

"You know what? If you really like him that much, Trev, I'll help you out."

I smile so wide because I have a slight chance now.

"Really??"

"Mhm."

"Thank you!!! Thank you so much!!!"

"No problem, dude."

A few days later, he tells me some news that would shatter my hopes.

"Um... Well, he's not gay..."

"Oh... Uh. Ok."

"I'm sorry, Trevor."

"No, it's fine. You at least tried, which wasn't necessary, but you did it anyway."

I talk to my friend with a fake smile. While I walk away, my smile drops.

'Of course he's not gay. He's too good looking to be gay.' I kept thinking to myself.

I still think about him. I can't stop thinking about him. My thoughts won't shut off when it comes to him.

Only fools fall for you.

Trevor's gay in this one if you couldn't figure it out. Based on true events.
