My name is William, I am currently 16 back when this story is based I was 15. Now I know I was young but I was appalling at talking to girls, even as a friend I couldn't grow the strength to do so. I was beginning to believe I would be single for the rest of my life. Funny huh, I was only 15 and already imagining that. Guess I was just losing hope. Well now look at me, I'm in a very safe relationship with a lovely girl called Natasha, now to describe this girl is not easy, she is beyond perfect for me. She's got sleek light brown hair that fades to blonde at the end of each strand. Amazing gold coloured eyes and the cutest smile. Not forgetting that's just the tip of the iceberg of her amazing looks. She has an amazing personality. She's funny, caring, loving and cute and there's nothing I am more grateful of than meeting the girl of my dreams, my soulmate.
Now, how nearly every romance begins, I was single back in April 2015. I was just a normal 15-year-old kid trying to find a nice girl to talk to and possibly get with because come on, didn't we all do that back when we were that age. Just trying it out for fun, nothing really serious. Well I mean there is the fact back in those years (being as most of us have just gone through puberty) hormones are raging like a bull in a china shop so that can be very overwhelming.
Anyway, picture this, I'm on an app called "hot or not" which is exactly as it sounds the first being you judge people based on looks and if u like them you tap the "hot" button and if she/ he presses in on you, you can then chat (imagine tinder) and the second being kind of sad. So I'm tapping the hot button away as you do. I freeze. I say to myself, "oh my god she's beautiful". In the picture, she was sat at a table next to a window with a great view of London city and Wembley stadium about 3 floors up. She had a huge smile, with ice white teeth, sleek hair, and a beautiful red dress. Before I pressed the button I admired the beautiful girl that was shown before me. Lost in a trance I pressed "hot" and she was gone, with a slight feeling of satisfaction I pressed it, I was slightly disappointed I wouldn't see that picture again. That was until the next day, a notification that read, "You've connected with a girl check her out". With hope, it was Natasha I instantly opened it, with so much joy on my face I realised it was her. I instantly type "hey" she replies, I eagerly compliment her on what my first thought of her was, "you're beautiful". She replies in a joke like manner ,"oh thank you so much you're not so bad yourself", I knew we would get along, she's funny. After about 3 hours of constant conversation, I feel as if I had known her for years. talking about things I wouldn't talk about with my friends I have known since primary school.
A few weeks pass of our constant 24/7 conversations. I was beginning to seriously grow on this girl. She lives roughly 30 minutes away so we couldn't meet before then. But the time had come. Our first date. After the weeks of talking and getting to know each other, I was nervous because I didn't want to ruin the relationship we currently had. But I was also excited to meet this girl who I had been talking to for weeks. After the nerves building up on the train, I step off, my mouth dries up, butterflies in my stomach but definitely ready for anything.
There she is, sat on the bench by the exit. She's wearing some light blue skinny jean and a white crop top, the sunshine beams on her. Her beauty is overwhelming, we made eye contact and we both smile, and she's like an angel I say to myself. We walk towards each other and instantly say hi. My first reaction was like a cartoon drooling over a girl, I can't help but say, "wow, you're beautiful" she blushes and says "thank you, you're very handsome" in the cutest voice possible. I'm already thinking about having a future with this girl.
I was lost in awe, just pure beauty and perfection. I felt comfortable with her before but now, now was amazing I could say anything to her and not feel the slightest bit uncomfortable. We soon begin to walk to a place called Richmond Green, it was a large field with a small game of cricket and was also crowded with children and families with picnics due to the summer weather. After about 20 minutes of talking about random topics Natasha announces her friend is coming and I needed to say this is our third date. I intently cracked up laughing after some waiting at a bus stop her friend steps off and being my shy nervous self I was worried id make a bad impression. They began chatting after my brief introduction and proceeded to walk to Richmond Green again. I have to admit I didn't speak much being as I didn't really have much to say. The whole time her friend Lottie was there I couldn't stop admiring how beautiful Natasha is. I was physically lost in the beauty of her eyes.
I lost track of time and soon enough Lottie left and it was just me and Natasha. We headed off to Richmond Park in the blistering heat, we wondered around for a while due to the hilarious fact we got lost. After Walking along the river, through the tree line and sitting by some yellow flowers having a conversation about hay fever we managed to eventually get there and ait down watching the sun fall over the horizon. I can only describe it as perfect. After that day I knew for sure that I love Natasha. I couldn't wait to get home and tell everyone about my "encounter with an angel".
We soon met again, she came to my home town, Windsor. We had an amazing walk along the river with the sun shining, gorgeous blue sky, beautiful summer hues and the most stunning girl by my side. That day was one of the most memorable. Our first kiss. Picture this, we are sat next to the slow flowing river, miles of green grass with spouting red and yellow flowers and a blue sky with nothing but one cloud. We walk for 20 or so minutes before finding a nice ledge to sit on with our feet hanging over just above the water. Once again I'm lost in her beauty, I couldn't think straight. All that was running through my head was grab her, hold her tight and never let go, she's the one. So I did so, I wrapped my arm around her waist and went in for a kiss after she looked me in the eyes with pure love. It was amazing, as if it were a dream, my whole body tingled due to the pure feeling of comfort and love. Time slowed and I was imagining our future together already.
