I can't believe it.

"Oh, good, you're home," my mom said walking into the room. "You can go pack up your room. We leave tomorrow early in the morning."

"But why?"

"Dad found a new farm back in Canada. We decided that we liked that lifestyle better." And with that she walked out.

I was frozen where I was standing. Back... To Canada? But, I wanted to stay here. In Ireland. With Niall.

"Ally, honey... Are you okay?" I turned around to see my dad standing there with a worried look on his face.

"No, I'm not," I said stubbornly, and stomped up to my room.

I shut the door quietly and took one last long look at my room. My bed in the centre of the far wall, my purple bedspread smoothly laid on top. The white closet doors with permanent marker all over them from when Niall and I decided to draw all over them. The sock I always kept balled up in the corner. Yeah, it's weird, but I think it's good luck. This was the last time I was going to see this room like this.

I slowly walked over to my closet and began to pack up my clothing. As I went through them, I came across a few things that made me smile. One of the pairs of pants Niall had bought me a few months before because I ran out of money at the mall; he wouldn't let me pay him back. One of Niall's old sweaters he let me keep because it got too small for him. A tee shirt with Niall and I on it - he got it for me for my birthday one year. It said "best friends forever" on the back. And the pajamas I kept here for him. One of his old shirts that had a small hole in the armpit, and a picture of Elmo on it. A pair of boxers that had chickens all over them. I didn't want to return them, they smelled like him. I shoved them into my bag. I continued to pack up pretty much everything in my room. I'm sorry to say that it literally took me the whole entire day. I was exhausted.

And then I came across my favourite picture ever taken. My mom took it only a few weeks ago. Niall and I were in front of the fountain in my yard laughing with each other. My mom took the picture without us knowing. Those are the kind of photos I like most - ones where you aren't posing. This picture would forever remind me how happy we made each other.

I looked at the clock. Midnight. Great. I heard a knock at my door.

"Hey," he said. I looked up and saw Niall standing there. I gave him a smile. "My mom told me to come see if you were alright; now I see why," he continued.

I saw tears making his eyes sparkle.

"Niall..." I hated seeing him cry. Especially when it was because of me.

Tears began to run down his cheeks. I got up from my position in the floor and pulled him into a hug, tears being to trickle down my face as well.

"I just c-can't bel-lieve you're l-leaving," he choked out, making me cry even more.

"Niall, stop crying, you're making me cry," I said somewhat laughing, trying to brighten the mood a bit.

"Ally, this isn't a time for laughing. This hurts too much. "

"Well how about you like stay the night tonight? One last time?" I asked, slowly.

"... No."

"Why not?" I was somewhat hurt by this.

"It'll hurt too much in the morning. You know what, I'm fine, I'm just gonna go."

"Niall-"

"Don't try to make me stay. Bye Ally." And with that he walked out.

I can't believe he just did that. Why on earth would he even act like that?! I just can't take this. I need to like, break something. How about my phone? Then he can't contact me.

•Niall's POV•

Oh. My. God.

What the hell did I just do.

Something landed on the sidewalk right in front of me. Ally's phone, smashed to pieces. I look up at her window and see her with her head in her hands, obviously very upset. I can't believe I did that.

I'm too angry with myself to do anything about this tonight. I'll go tomorrow morning before she leaves I guess.

I set an alarm so I would be up early enough to fix everything. Unfortunately, that alarm didn't wake me up. I ran over to Ally's house. YES, there was still a moving truck in the drive way.

I ran inside and up to her room. She was inside. She had to be. I burst in.

"Ally, I'm so sor-"

There was a man packing all the boxes onto a cart.

"Sorry, mate, Ally and her parent left over an hour ago."

Shit.

I slowly slid my back down the wall.

She's gone.
