Sorry for not updating!! I've been very busy with school!! :(
THE NEXT DAY
Oh my god. Jake asked me out, I am dating Jake. It all happened so fast, I can't even process it all. It was unbelievable. Jake asking ME out? He's more popular than I am, more 'high status' than I am, all that.
"So, you likey?" Lauren asked me, snapping me out of my daze.
"Yeah, it's pretty sweet." I knew she was talking about Jake.
"Did you give him your phone number??"
"Yeah, and he gave me mine. I think I'll call tomorrow."
"No no no!! He has to call YOU! That's how you know he's interested in a relationship."
"Haha, alright alright calm down." This all seems so fake. I never thought I could get Jake. Then, all of a sudden, my phone started to ring.
"Hello?"
"Is this Cassidy Smith?"
"Yeah, who's asking?"
"This is Jake. From the football game."
"Oh, haha. What's up?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out today? Like at a coffee shop or something?" I smiled widely.
"I would love that."
"Cool. What's your address so I can come pick you up? And what time sounds good?"
"254 Ocean Avenue. And maybe pick me up in about an hour?"
"Sounds awesome. See you at noon."
"Sounds great. See ya then." We then said our goodbyes and hung up. Lauren then walked into my room.
"Who was that??" I started to smirk, and she knew exactly who it was.
"What did he say? Tell me everything."
"He's picking me up at noon. We're going out." I blushed. I'm so nervous.
