Misunderstood Words of Love

it's been 4 months since we broke up, and since then things have changed a lot.
you've moved on, i've moved on and we are both two changed human beings. it has been an emotional rollercoaster since we drifted apart, between the texts saying we wish we didn't end up here, and the times where we talked and it seemed like everything was the way it was. but it still is all changed, and we cannot go back.
although i wish we could go back, to all that we had when we were happy together, there is just some things that have changed that make that impossible to do. but we still have our memories.
all the stuff we did, all the things we talked about. it will still be in our minds for as long as it will remain.

and if we continue to keep on trying to make this friendship we are making currently, i think we will get by, because it just seems like we cannot live without each other.
but things will be different, after all we do have two new people in our own lives, and soon enough the future is going to come, and we will go our own ways.
who knows, maybe someday like people do in stories, we will find our way back to each other, when we are older and wiser and know much more about love.
