The new kid

I woke up to the loud shrill of my alarm as I sit up slowly hitting the button to shut it off. I really needed to start sleeping more I think to my self as I get out of my large canopy bed and walk into my closet to get dressed in a light blue dress, a thin white sweater and white flats. I grab my bag and walk down to the kitchen to get an apple and my car keys. There's a note on the island from my parents -gone for the week be back in time for your show case love mom- I sigh there home less and less sense Brandon died it's my fault I never should have left that party with out him. It just keeps running through my mind. No! I snap out of my own head we have to go to school no more wallowing in self pity I tell myself as I walk out of the house locking the door and driving to school. I pull into the parking lot shutting my door when a pair of arms wrap around me "Emily." My best friend Sara squeals and I force a smile "hi Sara." I say and hug her back "what do you have first period" I ask her as we walk into school together. "I have Economics, calculus, intro to drama, and American lit. We have all the same classes again." She smiles handing me our class lists I smile I'm happy I have my classes with Sara "yes it's perfect." I smile as we walk into our first hour I run strait into a head mountain of muscles. Dropping my books as I stumble "oh I'm sorry..." A deep voice trails off as I look up and meet the most beautiful green eyes Iv ever seen......

I woke up feeling on edge as I drove to this school I would be attending. I didn't want to come to America but for some reason my wolf pulled me here maybe there was something I needed to find here but I knew better than to try to ignore the feeling so here I am living in this small town for the next year. I think as I catch a sent making my wolf snarl *mate!* I fallow the sent quickly when I feel the softest body run into mine I catch her arm but she bends down to pick up her books and when she looks up our eyes meet. Her eyes they were ice blue but they looked so sad so scared. My wolf growled and I knew from that point on I would do what ever it took to make sure nothing ever hurt my Luna again. "Sorry." I say helping her up. She has long dark brown hair almost black, beautiful eyes, soft flawless skin, and a perfect body. " it's fine." She says her voice soft and delicate as I make my self snap out of it "I'm Alexander the new student from Russia." I smile at her taking her hand " and you are?" I ask meeting her eyes again "I'm Emily." She says I can tell I'm making her blush and soon I can see her blush come onto her cheeks. "Well Emily I don't suppose you'd mind helping me find the Economics class room?" I ask as she blushes an even deeper red "uh yes it's actually that door right behind us." She says shyly. I grin at her "thank you is it alright if I walk with you ladies?" I say as she nods her friend smiling beside her. I sit next to her in class and she looks away from me at her friend whispering something to her and her friend laughs. My mate was human it suddenly dawned on me she's so fragile she needs to be protected I think as I look over at her " Emily .." I start to say "would you. Mind if I took you to dinner tonight?" I ask and for some reason her eyes get sad suddenly but she nods " sure I'd love to ." She says softly as the final bell rings and the class begins. I have a good feeling about this and about this new gift I've been given Emily and I will do what ever it takes to make her mine and protect her that I was sure of
