The Dreamweaver

Chapter One

I ran out to the pouring rain, umbrella in hand. People think I'm childish but I'm just happy at core.
"Margaret!" Calls Angelica, my best friend and only friend. She runs to me. "I need advice. I really like Snowden but I don't know if he likes me back... How do I ask him out?"
"I don't know! It's almost April which means April Fools. Tell him then," I reply, hoping I'm leading on to something. She nodded.
"That actually might be a good idea. Thank you!"
She runs down the street. I sigh and inhale the cold, misty air.

I walk home, avoiding the puddles of cold water on the brick road. Automobiles turn around the corners I walk on. I find myself at a shop.

I decided to walk in. The bell shakes making a ding noise. I look up and I wipe my boots on the mat in the front of the shop. I walk to one shelf.
"How to weave dreams into reality..." I whisper, reading the title of a book. I pick it up and set it down. It must be nonsense.
"You looking for anything?" Asks a women at a desk.
"I'm good, thank you," I smile. She forces a grin back and I continue looking at books.
"How to be telekinetic... How to perform a spell, how to do witchcraft, basic steps for beginners in witchcraft.... This is all nonsense!" I whisper to myself. I turn around and I see wands and stones.

A boy walks in and walks to the stones. He feels each one well and picks up one. He smiles and gets out his wallet. He takes out coins. He walks to the desk.
"I'd like to pay for this," I overhear.

I sigh. "Maybe I should test witchcraft."

I walk to the stones and I pick up a random one and I get shocked.
"Ouch!" I whisper. I direct my gaze to on top of the shelves and I find a Oujia board.
"Classic."
I pick it up and I walk over to the desk.
She grins and I give her the 20 dollars.
"Have a nice day!" She exclaims as I walk out.
