"Dear diary,
It's been two years now, that I've been the amazing Ladybug; two years of obsessing over Adrien. I've always been so grateful for the powers I've gained, because it's always gave me the ability to be two different people.

I've lived my whole life, being a boring, geeky, clumsy girl, who is practically embarrassing herself every second, of every minute, of every hour, of everyday, of every week, of every month, but now, I can be someone who doesn't have to worry about embarrassment, because no one can see the real person making the mistake...

Sometimes I wish I could tell Adrien who I really was, the one under the mask, but I can't, I don't what him to think less of Ladybug when he finds out about the real figure within the mask.

I'm nothing like Ladybug, except that I wear 5 year old pigtails, and- well, um... that's it? I wish I were more like Ladybug, because she's everything I wish I was.

Love,
Marionette/Ladybug"

I finished, as I shoved my diary into my booby trapped box, and flung on my backpack, running to the door. "Bye, Marionette, I'll see you after school!" My mother waved as I popped my head in, and smiled, waving back at her. "Looking forward to it, Mom!!! I'll see you later!"

I looked at the time on my phone, as I slowly walked down the stair. "HmmMMMmmmMMM- OH MY GOSH, SCHOOL'S GONNA START IN 3 MINUTES! GAHHHH!!" I yelled, running down the stairs.

I ran out the door, as fast as I possibly could, and across the street, and to the school. "Hey girl!" I heard a familiar voice behind me, and spun around to find my best friend, Alya.

"Oh! Alya? B-But, you always get to school early, the bells about to ring-" I paused as I checked my phone once more. "O-Oh. I'm... eleven minutes... early." My face filled with embarrassment, as I looked at Alya with an awkward look.

"Mari, Mari, Mari. You're so silly, girl." she laughed, and laid her arm on my shoulders. "It's only the third day of school!" she complained in a sweet way. "Y-Yeah, I-I know." I blushed.

"Oh! I forgot, I'm having a party tonight!!!" Alya squealed.
"What? Why?"
"Uh, DUH! Today's the day Ladybug, and Chat Noir came into my life!!! I have to celebrate that! And, I'm hoping Ladybug and Chat will come! I really hope they do!!!"
"Yeah, I'd love to come!!!" I blushed, and then paused.
"Never mind, I-I'm, uh... gr-grounded?" I explained, in a sad voice. I couldn't go to the party, at the same time as Ladybug! That would be way to complicated for little old me...
"Awe, what!? Why?" Alya questioned with a sad look on her face.
"I-I- um, I-I... robbed a bank???" I splurged out, as Alya gave me a look.
"You robbed a bank? Yeah right Mari, why can't you really go?"
"F-Fine, I can't go, because... because I don't like parties. I'll just be the awkward kid there the whole time!!!"
"But I'll be there, and you can hang out with me!!! Then you don't have to be awkward."
"No, I'll be alone the whole time, because once you see Ladybug, and Chat Noir, you'll be gone."
"Haha, maybe... it's an instinct, okay? But, Adrien will be there!!! And maybe he'll ask you for a dance?" Alya explained, as I blushed. "H-He's not gonna ask me to do that. Adrien wouldn't do that, so there's still no point in going-"
"What wouldn't I do?" A voice behind, began. I slowly turned my head, and jumped beside Alya. My face turned red, at the sight of Adrien standing in front of me. Oh, and Nino too.

"Uh-Uh, i-it's nothing- or, y-you're nothing- or- I mean, gah." I said as I hit my forehead, and walked into the school.

"Hey Nino, hey Adrien. You guys wanna come to a party tonight?"
"Sure, what for?"
"It's the day Chat Noir and Ladybug brought meaning into my life." Alya answered with a smile. "I'm hoping Chat and Ladybug will be there!" she said once more.

"O-Oh! Well, I'd love to come, b-but, I uh, can't, because- uh, well. I'm grounded?" Adrien lied, as both Nino and Alya gave him a look.

"Why are you grounded?" Alya questioned, as she and Nino folded their arms. "I-I-I robbed a bank?" He murmured. "You robbed a bank?" Nino sighed.

"Funny thing, that was the same exact thing Mari said. Hm. What's the real reason you can't come, Adrien?" Alya moaned, as Adrien scratched the back of his head.

"Well, I don't think my dad will let me- he's not into letting me go places. And I probably have a modeling thing at that time, like usual..." Adrien said shamefully.

"Oh... well, I guess that's okay, Adrien. Try to make it though, okay?" Alya said depressingly, as she walked up the stairs, and to Marionette.

"What's wrong, Alya?" I asked as I looked at her, sad face. "I don't understand why two of my greatest friends can't come to my party! You, and Adrien!!! Is it that my parties suck???" Alya complained. "No, no, no, no!!! I think your parties are fun!!!" I exclaimed, with a reassuring look on my face.

"Mari, you've never been to one of my parties."
"W-What? Of course I have!!! Why wouldn't I!?"
"Because you're either grounded, or busy, or piled up with homework; even thought, I have all the same classes as you, and don't get nearly as much homework as you- and-- I feel like you're hiding something from me. I mean, can you not trust me???"
"Alya, you know that's not true, I-"
"I got to go to class early, I-I'll talk to you later." she walked off, with a sour look in her face.

I slowly went to class, and suddenly ran to the bathroom, and shut a stall. "Tiki! I need to talk to you!!!" I whispered, as Tiki came flying out.

"What is it, Marionette?" she asked, looking me in the eyes. "I-I was wondering, is there any rules against me telling anyone about my secret identity?" I murmured, looking at the ground, and tapping my fingers against each other. "Mari, the only one who has ever made that rule, is you. You can change it if you want, but try not to tell the whole world; only people you have complete trust in, okay?" Tiki said in a comforting way, as she hugged my face. "Thanks, Tiki." I said as the bell rang. "OH NO!" I yelled, and ran out the door to class, and hopped by Alya.

I looked at her, with a comforting smile, and she looked away, ignoring me... I frowned slowly, and wrote something down on a piece of paper, and slid it in front of her face, quietly.

After reading it, she looked at me, and smiled, shaking her head up and down. I couldn't wait until lunch.
