Olivia's POV*
After me and Rivers chat in the kitchen I found myself sitting on a black leather sofa with my legs crossed trying to fit four pieces of sweet chilli chicken into my mouth at once.

"So Liv , that's your name right?" Said the shaggy haired guy from earlier. I think his name was Jackson, after I nodded he continued. "So where you guys from?" He asked and I hesitated before replying.

Did I really want these people to know more about me than was absolutely necessary?. No was the answer that came to mind but that may have been my pre wired trust issues talking.

"Ireland originally. Only lived there till I was about five though so I don't have an accent or anything. Jason won't remember it at all. We moved to Germany for a while but our parents died when I was what 13? It's just been me and Jason ever since, that's why we moved to England actually," I said with a shrug.
It was quiet for a moment and I looked up and was met by stunned faces.

"What?" I asked , had I said something wrong?

"Just didn't think you were a sharer," the girl practically draping off shaggy said with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh and what exactly did you think of her?" Jason said with a low growl.

"I think she means cause I wouldn't open up to sexy ass mgee over there," I said casually pointing my fork at River.

"Did you just call him sexy ass mgee?" Jason said clearly disgusted. "I think a little bit of puke just came up."

I kicked him with my foot. Rivers cheeks had tinged red and I was glad I'd embarrassed him.

"I didn't mean it as a compliment," I said mysteriously and went back to my chicken.

Truthfully I didn't even know what I meant by that but at least people wouldn't think I had a thing for River or something.

Rivers POV*

Sexy Ass Mgee?? What tin the bloody hell did she mean by that? Did that mean she found me attractive? Did I want her to find me attractive? And what the hell did she mean it wasn't a compliment? THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!

My head was spinning so after the conversation had moved on I excused myself and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I sat myself down on a chair at one of the now empty tables a carefully lifted the liquid to my lips, hoping it would help. It didn't. This girl was more trouble than she was worth and I had a feeling that if I wanted to keep my dignity it would be better for everyone if I steered clear of her. Deciding finally that I was going to avoid her at all costs I trudged back to my room and fell asleep instantly. That night I dreamed of rain.

The next morning :)

Knock Knock Knock. I was awoken by an insistent pounding on my door that seemed to shake my room by its very foundations.

"Come in," I grumbled sleepily, burying my face in my pillow and turning away from the door.
I heard the door burst open and before I knew what was happening Bill had lifted me up bridal style and was carrying me down the corridor.
"BILL!! Put me down!," I yelled, struggling in the mans arms.

"If you'd come down yourself the first ninety times I called you this wouldn't be necessary," Bill said in his calm voice , seeming not to noticing my struggling form.

He plopped me down on the sofa next to the kid and I had to stop myself recoiling from him. If Liv's story was to be believed the kid had been through enough.

I lay my head against the back of the sofa and focused on keeping my burning eyes open. When I looked up everyone was looking at me. Including a smiling a Liv who was biting her lip to stop her laughter.
