Finding the truth

"Ethan, Grayson" I heard Chase's voice yell from behind me, I turned around and looked out of the window to see Chase with The head mistress and my parents. I jumped out of the window and landed softly on the grass and got into a fighting stance. "Get away from them" I said before creating another grey ball in my hand. "Grayson calm down" these are your parent, I read their minds, they were on their way here, but they were ambushed, by witches" Ms.Stackhouse said formally. "Mom, Dad, where is Bricen" I asked as I looked as they tensed up at the mention of Bricen. "H- How do you know about Bricen" My dad stumbled to say. "You thought we wouldn't find out, he is our brother, our twin freaking brother, and you thought we wouldn't find out " I shouted feeling the stress flowing out of me with every word. "Your grandfather, my father, Guyous has him, that day at the park, he intended for the wolf and shapeshifter to take all three of you, but when you three destroyed the wolf, the shapeshifter saw just how powerful you three were together, so she took the weakest one of you three, which was Bricen." My mom said as a tear slipped down her cheek.

"How do we find them" I asked while getting the feeling that Kelso was nearby. "We've tried honey, but all of our leads were dead ends" Mom said her sadness clear in her voice. "Let us try mom, please, I know me and Ethan can get him" I pleaded my mom. "Fine but I'm coming along with you" mom said while putting her hands on her hips sassily. "Im coming also" Kelso said as he came around our building. "Who is this young man" My dad asked already suspicious. "Mom, Dad, E , this is Kelso, my mate" I said as I watched everyones expressions. "What the hell do you mean, you can't have a guy as your fucking mate" My dad shouted which surprised me. "Calm your shit jerry, Ive told you that this could happen, we don't pick what happens when it comes to mates" My mom shouted back at my father. My dad didn't calm down, he did shut up how ever. "What ever, how do we find him" I asked Ethan who was too busy standing next to mom looking at dad with disgust. When he felt my stare on him he turned to me ad his expression softened. "Witches, we need witches " Ethan said as he looked over at the head mistress. "I can rally up our best witches" Kelso said before receiving a nod from the HM and sprinting off.. "Before we do anything, you boys need to train, you guys haven't had your powers that long, and Im impressed by how advanced you are and all, but you guys aren't ready for an army, not yet anyway" My mom said.

"Is there anywhere we can train privately" My mom asked Ms. Stackhouse . "Yes mam, follow me" Ms. stackhouse said as she walked off to the direction of the forest. Once we were at the beginning of the forest a few of the branches started to connect and form sort of a door frame, inside the door frame was a series of lights flowing back and forth like an ocean with millions of colors. "Walk on through and there is a private training area, it is equipped with every weapon known to man. if you need me there is an intercom inside which gives me direct contact with you" She said before she walked away. I watched as Mom and dad walked through the lights and I followed after a wave of colorful lights flashed in front of me I was highly disappointed, I expected a giant stadium to train and fight. But instead I was looking into a basement like room, dirty with mold in the corners, the pipes above our heads conected to the ceiling with water drops flowing from it. "Ok first thing first we need to get you a handle on your fighting skills "

It's been three days that we've been here training, practicing, non stop. I feel my muscles act on their own to defend a blow my dad sends to me. I return the block with a leg sweep and watch as he falls to the ground , I creat a ball of air and form it into a staff and point it at his neck. I pause and watch his face as it smiles, I lean down to help him up and he gladly accepts my hand. Ive decided to forgive him about his freak out about Kelso. I pull him up and we watch mom and E finish sparing. It's not as much strength used since it's mom, there's more tactic in her battling and I guess that's something E inherited from her because he is skillfully dodging, blocking, and returning blows. He was caught off gaurd when mom punched him in the shoulder and he hissed in pain while stepping back. I smiled over at him just in time for him to see. His face quickly from pain to determination as he ran to mom blowing a Blast of dark blue energy kind of looking like sound waves which created a big boom inside the little room, she tried to dodge the sound waves but she was still caught in it and was flung to the back of the room, a magical beans bag catching her in the air. We figured out after an hour if someone will be hurt severely, the room knows and finds ways to stop them from getting hurt, sometimes it creates first aids full of potions that heal us instantly, the bean bag how ever did disappear immediately letting mom drop to the ground unconscious, the usual fist aid kit appeared and it contained a vial of green sparkly fluid. I pick up the vial and through it near mom watching it bust and green smoke surrounded mom until she regained consciousness.

After she stood up and brushed herself off while looking at E and I with proud looks she called us over to her. Once we were to her she placed a hand on each ours. I felt a rush of energy flow through me and it started to build. It built until it had no where to go but out. My muscles started to tense up and I let out an involuntary gasp as my body started to shake. I fell to the ground and let go of moms hand and started to slow my breathing. Once I felt better I stood up and looked at mom.
"Congratulations my sons, you have earned your first tail." She said before gesturing to our hands. I looked at my palm and gasped at the dark print of a small throwing star in the center of my hand.
