Chapter 6 - War

(Pre-part)

The sweat that was going down my body was loosening the tape on my mouth. Suddenly it started peeling off as the boys where getting in an argument. I spat it on the ground. I suddenly felt like power was thundering in my body. The chains suddenly fell to the ground in pieces and Damon and Gabe turned to face me. I was panting as rage was forming in my body. I saw in the reflection of Gabe's eyes that my eyes where blood shot red. All that power suddenly formed in my lungs. I screamed at the top of my lungs. It didn't sound like a girl scream though. It sounded like silver. The sound of silver is almost how it feels. It sounds/feels like fire. The screech I made, made Damon and Gabe collapse to the ground. I felt a bit bad for Damon but pure anger was forming in my body, and I didn't know where it was coming from. Suddenly my wolf gained control and made me shift. As I shifted my clothes were torn into pieces. I knew my eyes where still probably bloodshot, I glanced at Damon and Gabe and they were looking at me with disbelief. To tell you the truth I felt different. I felt like ice, instead of fire. And it felt like there was a huge weight on my shoulder blades. My wolf howled like a male alpha would, then suddenly I saw my pack members looking at us through the forest, considering Gabe didn't take me far from camp. I saw Jason staring at me with his mouth hanging open. Then he pointed at my shoulder blades and mouthed 'wings.'

Skylar's P.O.V.

Jason mouthed the word wings to me and for a moment I was in pure anger but then I became in pure awe. Suddenly something happened. The barriers were getting knocked over. Everyone one howled and shifted and ran towards the barriers. I turned around to see only Damon's wolf and Gabe was no where to be seen. Damon mind-linked me. "Skylar we are talking later." He growled then sprinted off I looked around and the chaos began. But there was still one wolf staring at me. Jason. He looked at me with pure jealousy then sprinted off. I suddenly ran into the clearing and a wolf came tackling me to the ground. I looked up and it was someone I wasn't expecting to see. "Alpha Tyler?" I said out loud. He smirked in wolf form which looked actually quite creepy. "Glad you remember." He answered then tried to bite my neck but I kicked him off with my back paws. I snarled then he looked at me with a frightened face. "W-wings?" He stuttered. "There is something wrong with this pack!" He howled and ran off towards one of my pack mates. Suddenly there was a mind-link going through the pack and somewhere else. "Dark eclipse pack, The pack of burning ashes has teamed up with the vampire clan, Blood clan, we need your help to save both our packs, they want and need power so if they defeat us they will go after you." My grandfather said. Dark eclipse pack... must be our allies. Suddenly Alpha David howled and another pack howled back and came racing in. The dark eclipse pack came charging in tackling vampires and werewolves. I noticed somebody standing in the crowd. Blake. I started sprinting at full speed towards him but I felt like I was hovering above the ground. I winced as I noticed I was flying. I suddenly tackled Blake to the ground and he hissed and punched my muzzle. I whimpered but bit his arm and wasn't letting go. He sneered and bit my ear and tore it. I yelped and let go and then he elbowed my side. I jumped into the air and went behind him. Even though he had vampire speed, I was still faster. I it the back of his neck and took him to the ground. He hissed loudly as I dragged him closer to a tree. Suddenly with so much force I threw him at the tree trunk and it made a cracking sound. He fell to the ground and wasn't moving. He wasn't fully dead, but would be out for awhile. I turned to see what was happening. Damon was fighting with a female vampire, Jason was fighting a male wolf, Rose was tackling a female vampire and Sage was fighting with a male vampire. I looked around to find Alpha David and then I found him and Alpha Tyler fighting. I growled loudly and sprinted towards them as I noticed Tyler had him pinned. I started hovering again. I neared towards them but then I heard someone shouting my name. I whipped my head around and saw the female vampire choking Rose. I raced over towards them and bit the vampire's hair and tugged her towards the ground. The vampire screamed and let go of Rose. I heard a whimper from far off and noticed Alpha Tyler got kicked off. I looked at David and noticed he had blood trickling from his neck.

I was about to help (Again) but then some girl wolf tackled me to the ground. I tried to kick her off of me but her claws dug into my shoulders. I winced slightly then her jaws came close to my ears. "This is for ruining my reputation." Her reputation? I don't even know her! She Moved her head towards my throat and put her jaws around it tightly. I closed my eyes but then the pain went away. I re-opened my eyes and noticed that she wasn't there. I got up and looked around and noticed Jason tackled her to the ground. I howled and turned to see Alpha David being pinned by Alpha Tyler and Tyler had his jaws on his throat. I freaked out and sprinted towards the two alphas. But I was too late. David went limp and Tyler howled through the clearing. I tackled Tyler to the ground and sneered in his face I swiped my claw over his eyes and he wailed and shut them tight. I put my jaws around his ear and ripped it. He screeched hen I scratched his throat. I didn't kill him but he tried to wail but no sound came out. I jumped off of him and howled. it wasn't a female wolf howl it was a power howl. All the wolves and vampires in the clearing stopped and bowed. I shifted back and quickly put my clothes that were wrapped around my ankle on. "The three leaders have been defeated. Alpha David. Alpha Tyler. And Blake. " I said with a bit of a croak. "Everybody return to there camp or else... you will be eliminated." I said as the wolves in my pack started growling at the others. The wolves and vampires grabbed there leaders and ran off. Suddenly there was a huge circle around Alpha David. I opened up the circle with a growl and walked over to Alpha David. I shifted back into my wolf and bowed my head at him then howled in defeat. My pack members joined in afterwards. What's going to happen next?
