-Chapter 1
Harry notices him after school on a Monday and he watches him the boy with silky shiny Feathery brown and blonde-ish hair,and he listens.
The boy sings every day after school. never when he knows someone’s around or sees anyone and Harry listens he wants to talk he wants to speak so badly...but he cant,and it’s always been that way just that easy, except it’s not.
-Chapter 2
Harry hasn’t heard his own voice in years so he spoils himself with Louis’ and savours it and craves it and needs it but he never goes into the choir room he never pursues him he never talks but he listens. He listens to the sweet and sassy, beautiful, harmonic tones of Louis’ voice and it’s really enough.
-Chapter 3
Louis spots him on a Thursday and screeches but mostly stares because this is Harry Styles the boy who never talks who signs who knows how to talk
but doesn’t. And Louis smiles,because maybe just maybe he could sing enough so Harry’s voice might peek out.
-Chapter 4
Louis sings for the first time and no one likes it. Harry is there hesitantly but confidently handing out pink flyers with Louis’ face on it and he shoves them at people because this is Louis the boy who sings and sings and does it because he’s so good. Louis understands why Harry doesn’t or maybe just won’t speak and he never asks. He knows Harry will talk but not right now.
-Chapter 5
They are together not dating because they don’t go on dates but they are always together. Louis sings Harry listens and teaches Louis signs and they feed off each other.Harry doesn’t tell Louis that he has to go to therapy because Louis is perfect and going to therapy would make perfect Louis
go away.
-Chapter 6
But they see each other there. Louis in one seat waiting Harry in another seat waiting too until they glance over and suddenly waiting becomes a staring contest.But Louis sits next to him and tells him about his drunk dad alcoholic mom homophobic kids and Harry wants to tell about his rapist father worrying mother dead sister but he listens and this time it isn’t to Louis’ singing.
-Chapter 7
It’s when Louis is rocking inside of him their sweaty foreheads touching chests flushed and Harry’s moaning crying out whimpering and Louis groans thrusts faster,faster and harder until they both hit their highs going slow and kissing messily when Harry realizes this is his boy he loves him and no one else. So he speaks for the first time and says "I like when you sing." And Louis cries and cries and cries until he sings and Harry is happy.
-Chapter 8
Harry is there when he sees his boy graduate and he’s there when he watches Louis accept his first grammy and he listens to Louis’ #1 single on iTunes every night and he rocks their daughter to bed.
-Chapter 9
He talks a lot now and Louis can’t sing because Louis is sick and Louis is fragile and Louis will make it out alive the doctor says. But Harry knows Louis and Louis gives up easily so when the heartbeat monitor falls flat and Louis’ last words "I love you" spill out Harry sings.
-Chapter 10
They play his favorite tune as they carry him away. He holds the roses
and kisses Louis’ forehead and Harry glances at the gravestone with his baby girl’s hand in his and reads the carved words "Husband, Father, Beloved Singer."But they don’t know that to Harry he will always be
