A little girl named Sophie wanted a rabbit. She begged and begged her parents and did so much research. Then after months of begging and research her parents finally said yes. She then started preparing for her bunny to come. Getting the cage, toys, food, and whatever else she could find to get. When she got the bunny it was a boy and she named him Waldo. For the first month he was normal.
But one day Sophie walked in her room and Waldo said hi. At first she thought she was hallucinating and was going crazy from being out in the sun so long. But she wasn't going crazy. So for the next couple of days Waldo was just talking to her. Then when Sophie let Waldo out he started walking on his Hilda legs like a human, and she practically fainted. She then started asking Waldo so many questions like he was a human and he answered all of them. She thought she was just dreaming but it was true he was talking and walking like a human. She had no idea what to do. But Waldo told her to not tell anyone because with his previous owners thought they were going crazy and just wanted ready for a rabbit so they gave him back. Sophie had promised not to tell anyone.
As the days went on he kept talking and acting like a human, but the thing was that when someone else walked in the room he was totally normal and when she did he automatically changed. One day Sophie then asked Waldo a question about how he talked and acted like a human. Waldo had answered that he was genetically altered before he was given away and that he was the smartest rabbit in the whole world. Sophie asked what could've done that. Waldo had then answered that he doesn't know even though he is the smartest rabbit in the world that was one of the things he didn't know.
All he knew was that it was a green substance that changed to blue then back to green then to blue and so on but he did not know. And so Sophie learned to get used to Waldo and not tell anyone the secret.
