Chapter 1: "SlyFox"

"Male body found mutilated in the woods. The body was stripped down of all clothing. Most likely a man between the ages of 20-25. 6’0” and Latino. *Look at missing person reports. The eyes were gauged out, and the skull cracked open. The stomach completely carved wide open with the organs placed on top of the victim's head, forming what seems to foxlike ears. Victim 6. SlyFox." The investigator noted all of this data on his pocket notebook.

"Seems to be the work of the one and only SlyFox." One of the police responded, staring at the disfigured body.

The police were able to confirm that a serial killer was loose on the town. The killer was confirmed male and most likely homosexual, being that all the victims were young gay men. Three of the six bodies confirmed to have been raped. The killer had his own ‘signature’ that he would leave behind at each scene. The signatures included a drawing of a fox from a victims' blood, along with the words “Can’t catch the fox.” under it, and a bloodied stuffed fox laying next to or on top of the victim.  Foxes. The killer seemed to have formed his own nickname “The SlyFox” on the internet and even a twisted fan base. Multiple “Foxes” as they would call themselves, apparently reported that they have even spoken to the killer. Every one of them then stating in an interview that they were faking it.  

"Damn him, if we don't act fast, he'll strike again soon." The inspector scowled, disgusted and disappointed that he haven’t catched the killer yet.

After searching for clues, which once again there weren't any but the signatures; two police enclosed the body in a body bag.  More information will be found during an autopsy tomorrow. They cleaned up the scene and drove off, not one single person noticing that a man was watching their every move from far off. At every scene he was there, watching, laughing under breath at the stupidity of the officers. It’s been six months, six victims, and nothing but a nickname on the killer. He seems to be a sly one
