All I saw was complete darkness, and I felt my self being lifted up and rolled somewhere. Was this where my life ended? I finally gained my eyesight back and there was a crowd of people in uniform asking my name, my age, where I'm from, how old I am, but I couldn't respond. I was being rushed somewhere, the hospital I would think. As soon as I got there I was immediately put in to ICU. About 5 seconds later 10 doctors came in and one of them began to say, "blah blah blah blah, cardiac arrest, blah blah blah blah, about 5 surgeries, blah blah blah blah blah, she may lose feeling on her right side" then I blacked out again.
When I got up I was dressed in all white, barefooted, and in an all white scene, I was shocked back in to the real world. Did I just see heaven? No way. One minute later I was rudely awaken by the sound of the doctors saying, "Gabby? Hi my name is Doctor Valdez, can you tell me how old you are?"
I responded, "16"
"Very good," then he questioned "where do you live?"
"216 Winnepoge Drive"
"What is your brother's name?"
"Um..." I hesitated, "Jason"
"Well done! I am going to have your family come in here to talk with you. You are one lucky child" he finally said.
Within seconds mom, dad, and Jason were running in.
"Are you okay?" Jason asked.
"Are you in pain?" My dad questioned.
"Have they been taking good care of you?" My mom demanded.
"Stop" I whispered in response.
"I'm fine, I'm in no major pain, and the doctors have been more than kind to me" I answered their questions one by one.
They seemed relieved after I said that.
Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep I was beginning to dose off, I faintly heard a yell for the doctor from my mom and in they came back with their big fancy talk. I was out. I don't know for how long, but I do know it was long enough. I wanted to wake up, but I couldn't.
