the move

*Connors pov*
I sat in the car with my headphones blaring out my "Written by wolves" playlist. I didn't want to move. I loved my school and I loved my friends. my dad finished packing all the bags into the car and we headed off.

my older sister Chloe (21 years old) sat in the front while my cousin Josie who is the same age as me say in the back with me. Josie was my closest friend, we always hang out together. she knows everything about me and she is the only person that I'm out as gay to.

I can't stop thinking about my mum. she passed away a year ago and this is the first car trip we have ever had without her. she always made them exciting by playing games and having fun music on the radio. I miss her so much.

it has been hours now and we are nearly in New York. I'm glad we are close. I just want to settle into our new house and sleep.
