Starting up

Chloe's POV

This is perhaps a normal day for me in college. It is the first day actually but I think I'm already used to it anyway. I got up in bed and took a shower while singing my lady jam "Titanium". After some minutes I quickly got in my clothes and my shoulder bag.

"Hey ready with your first day", Aubrey asks, she's my roommate and my best friend

"Yeah, you?", I asked

"The Hell I am", she said excitedly

"Then shall we?", I gesture to our dorm door

"Sure", she says curling our arms together

On our way to the classroom we directly sitted on where are we suppose to sit. Then as usual the teachers are teaching you things and stuff.

After 4 hours

"C'mon Aubrey!", I shouted to Aubrey while we're racing to the cafeteria to eat our lunch.

"Oh c'mon wait up", she says as she runs faster to me

"I can't am I too fast for you", I said laughing and she laughs as well

After getting our food we ate and talked while laughing at some of topics. Then in the afternoon I told Aubrey that I need to go to my parents house to visit them, it's been a long time since the last time I saw them. Aubrey just nods and kissed me on the cheek then went back to our dorm.

Chloe's house

I knocked on the door three times before someone responded, my brother greeted me and hugged me so tight.

"Hey Luke", I said hugging my blonde brother back

"Hey Chlo how are you? You were gone like forever", he said pulling himself from the hug and looked at my eyes

"Aaww my little brother missed me", I said rubbing his head

"Yeah, yeah whatever,", he said pushing me slightly

"Right whatever", I said laughing "So where's mom and dad?", I said as I looked around me

"They went for a dinner date or something",

"Oh well guess I have you for company", I said punching him playfully

We talked about how are lives are going and some of her "girl crush problems" that is really funny but my brother is a great boy and he will have the right girl for him 😃. After that he offered me to eat mom's lasagna oh mom's a great cooker and lasagna is one of my favorite. I looked at the clock and it's already eight.

"You should go to sleep now little bro",

"But I'm scared here without any company", he said trembling

"Okay okay I'll be here and watch you sleep is that ok?", I said as I rub his back

"Yeah sure", he said pulling me into a hug

"Now let's go to your room", I said carrying him on my back, he's light because for god sake he's only eight

After putting him to sleep, I kissed his forehead and turned on his lamp for little light until my parents gets home. I walked downstairs and left the house with my note to my parents that I was here. I walked on the street towards our campus when suddenly a car out of nowhere rushed towards me. Oh my god I can't move. C'mon Chloe bring yourself together. I can't die right now no not now. I feel someones arms wrapped around me I looked at her eyes and they we're sparkling red. Yes I said 'her' because it was a silhouette of a woman. Her hair falls perfectly with a brown color. Then she carried me away from the rushing car.

"Are you okay?", she asked wow she has a lovely voice

"Y-yeah", I stuttered at the scene happened so fast

"Great", she says smiling and was lost of sight in just a second

My eyes caught that there were another one who stopped the car and got the driver fast enough before it would explode. The driver has a very familiar face and hair, I gasped, it was Aubrey. The other one was taller but still a brunette then she gently lays Aubrey on the street.

"Aubrey!", I shouted running to her she doesn't response

"A-are you okay?", I stuttered as I looked at her body with some bruises and her face with small cuts

"I'm s-sorry", she said as she faints

"Aubrey no!", I directly called my father who was already home to help us and he came to get us to our way to his house just near by the street

"What happened?!", my mom cried rushing to me still wearing her dress from their date

"I-i don't know", I let out a deep sigh

"She's gonna be okay sweetie she just needs rest and stitches for her cuts", my dad said and tries to comfort rubbing my back then called an ambulance

"O-okay", i replied then my mom walked to me

"C'mon honey you need some rest too dad will take care of Aubrey", she said as she walked me to her room but I refused to go there

"Can I sleep with Luke mom?", I asked her

"Sure honey whatever you say", she says with a smile and left me with Luke in his bedroom then I fell asleep
