*QUICK A/N I am very aware that this chapter is quite terrible and plan on changing it soon but I promise that the rest of the chapters won't be this bad. Thank you and continue reading please.*
Lydia's voice woke Victoria up the morning of their first day back at school, instead of the annoying screeching of the alarm clock that she had set the night before. Lydia stood in the doorway with her arms crossed and her jaw set in determination for whatever she was about to do.
Instead of facing her and the horrible pain she would put Tori through by looking at clothes and comparing lip glosses to each other, she rolled onto her other side so she couldn't see Lydia, burying her face in the pillows even more and groaning when her sister started yanking off the covers that protected Tori from the cold morning air.
"Victoria Isabella Martin! It is your first day back at school since last semester and you need to look as good as you did then so people don't start thinking you only looked good because it was your first semester of high school." Lydia said as she yanked the pillows out from under Tori's head.
She groaned again and allowed her darling sister to start rummaging around in her wardrobe while Tori went into her bathroom to shower and clean her teeth. When she stepped out with a towel wrapped around her body, Lydia was gone and on Tori's newly tidied bed was her outfit for the day since Lydia didn't trust her to dress herself when she was tired.
She had to get dressed quickly for fear that Lydia would leave the house without her, throwing all of the things Lydia had set out for her onto her body over her undergarments without really looking at them. She then started drying her hair and curling it slightly with a curling iron and then brushed it out so it wasn't too big. She added a suitable amount of make up to her face which only consisted of a thin layer of foundation and concealer to hide the bags under her eyes from the nightmares that occasionally kept her up at night.
To make sure whatever Lydia had chosen for her wasn't too inappropriate for school Tori did a quick check in the full length mirror on her wall to make sure her appearance was alright and was quite happy that Lydia had managed to chose something that suited Tori's style quite well.
She wore dark denim jeans with a black tank top under a white, knitted, one shouldered jumper. Her brown hair fell down to her waist in neat waves and her chocolate brown eyes were complimented with the mascara on her full eyelashes.
Tori quickly grabbed her school bag and hopped down the stairs while trying to get both of her knee high brown leather boots on her feet without falling which seemed like mission impossible considering the stairs were incredibly steep in the Martin household.
Once she was safely down the stairs of doom, Tori went to the kitchen and found Lydia talking to their mom about one thing or another. She grabbed an apple and ate it slowly while observing the conversation between her mother and sister as they continued talking without giving any input on her opinion on the newest fashion craze. By the time she had finished breakfast, it was time for them to leave for school.
Lydia and Tori bid goodbye to their mother as they left the house and then hopped into Lydia's car so she could drive them to the hell known to most teenagers as high school. Whilst Lydia drove, Tori decided to badger her sister with questions about her trip to Mexico since Tori was the only one in Scott's McCall's pack that didn't get to go due to some slight grounding issues because of a detention she received for sassing a teacher when asked why she was late to class.
It wasn't exactly her fault the only response she could come up with was a smart ass reply about how global warming was effecting her brain and disrupting the nerve endings which told her to get out of bed in the morning and since she didn't want to add to the global warming problem, Tori refused to take any transport other than walking.
