RECAP

"Ok, Austin, it's your turn." Finnick gustered to Austin like Austin did to Finnick. Austin thought for a moment.

"Well," he paused for a moment, "Bonnie is the reason why I asked Zuri." Finnick glared at him with a death stare. "Let me finish. Let me finish. Bonnie could tell that I liked Zuri and had been convincing me to ask her out. Remember the month that me and her would hang out with each other at lunch and wouldn't let wither of you eat with us?" We both nodded. "Well, those were the times that she was trying to convince me. And I have to admit," he paused and looked down at me, "I haven't regretted that month ever since." He smiled and rubbed my head. Finnick still walked with his death stare. "It's your turn, Zuri. We've all admitted something, and it would be fair if you didn't."

I dreaded me telling mine. I sighed and began. "Remember that month that you spent with Bonnie?" Austin nodded. "Well," I never got to finish it because we got to the X-Ray room. Thank God, I'm saved.

END OF RECAP

*flashback to 9th grade, the month before Austin and Zuri began going out*

I was walking in the hallway with Bonnie, Austin, and Finnick, heading toward lunch.Bonnie tugged on Austin's sleeve.

"Hey, Austin. Can I talk to you privately at lunch today?" She looked up at him with her beady eyes. I always hated when she used her beady eyes of evil to get a guy to do something for her. It always works somehow.

Austin rolled his eyes. "Fine, just stop looking at me like that! It freaking scares me!" He ran and hide behind me. "Kill it!" Austin whispered to me, pointing at Bonnie. I started laughing, just the way he said it made me giggle. Finnick leaned over to me.

"What'd he say?" I stopped giggling long enough to whisper what Austin said to me in the same speech pattern. He started laughing, too. Austin felt proud that he got me and Finnick to laugh. Bonnie, stopped with her beady eyes, wanted to know what Austin said that made us laugh.

"What'd he say!" She demanded. "Come on! Tell me!" Austin leaned over and told her. At first, she couldn't believe that he told me to kill her. Then she started giggling like we all were because she finally got that it was a joke. "Ha ha. Very funny, Austin." She nudged him lightly towards me. I got knocked off balance. Luckily, Finnick caught me.

"Trust fall!" He practically yelled, helping me back up. He started giggling, which made me and Austin giggle.

"Hey!" I giggled. "Don't push people!" I pointed at Bonnie, but she knew she was off the hook. We got towards the lunch line, and that's when the fun really took off.

We started having random group hugs, where I would be standing there, talking to Austin, when I get pulled in by my hood by Finnick.

"Tell my parents I love them!" I'd scream to Austin, laughing.

Then Finnick would poke us in our bellies and we would do the same to Finnick while Austin watched. Then Finnick would place his hands on our heads and we would repeat with Finnick. We finally got through the lunch line and Bonnie IMMEDIATLY grabbed Austin and pulled him towards one of the booths. Austin looked back with his "Help me Dear God! Help me!" eyes and mouthing "help me please."

"What's gotten into Bonnie?" I nugded Finnick, changing my look from Austin to him. I looked at him nervously. Bonnie has never wanted to talk to either of them that badly before. I wonder what they're talking about.

**Austin's perspective**

"You want me to do what!?" I couldn't believe that she asked me that.

"You and Zuri need to hook up. It's very quite simple. You like her, there's no denying it, and she likes you! How simpler can I put it?!" She gestered towards me and then towards her. Then she made the heart sign.

I rolled my eyes. "You have got to be kidding me!" I thought for a second. "She put you up to this, didn't she? She was too nervous of asking me out so she got you to do it for her!"

"You got it all wrong!" She stared at her plate. "It's just..." She trailed off. She spun her spagetti around her plastic fork, acting like she was interested in it.

"Well?" I watched her. She slowly looked up to me with her sad puppy dog face.

"It's just that Finnick told me, yestersday during 1st block, that on Zuri's birthday, his birthday present to her is he's gonna ask her out. We are both well aware that that's a month away." She looked from side to side, as if she was watching for Finnick. "You know how my mom is a matchmaker, right?" I nodded. "Well, I told her about Finnick's plan. She thought about for a while. She even went into her office for 2 hours. After she came out, she told me I have to stop it. Finnick isn't right for her. But I don't have the guts to tell him that." She looks away to Finnick. "Truth is, I kinda like Finnick, and I don't wanna ruin his plan. I don't him angry at me.

So that's why I want you to ask her out. I care to much about Finnick to break his heart. I know he likes her. I just wish he liked me..." She looked like she was gonna cry. She bent her head down and brought her hands up to her face. "He's gonna ask her out on her birthday in last block. I need to convince you to ask Zuri out before then," she added. " Can you please ask out Zuri? I'll even take a whole month to convince you if I have to. I don't want Zuri to break Finnick's heart."

**Zuri's prespective**

I was walking up to the trash can, thinking about what they could be talking about. I felt a nudge from my back, causing me to lose my train of thought. I turned around.

"Don't go daydreaming about me," Finnick stated. "I find that kinda creepy, you know?"

I laughed, "I wasn't. I was just wondering what they're talking about over there." I pointed towards Bonnie and Austin.

"Ok, good..."

We dumped our trays and start walking back to our seats. I felt some weird thing on my left shoulder. It felt like a arm spread across my shoulders. I looked at my shoulder and followed the hand to it's owner. My jaw dropped.

**Bonnie's prespective**

"What is Finnick's arm doing around Zuri?" I pointed towards them, walking back towards the Mirage section of the cafe. Austin looked over and his jaw dropped.

"Oh hell no!" He looked back over to me. "Ok, I accept. We'll talk together at every lunch until November 3rd. Deal?" He stuck his hand out, asking for a handshake to close the deal.

"Deal." I shoke his hand. This month is going to be awesome.
