🍱Kai's POV🍱

We rushed far away from the 6th grade classes and headed towards the counseling center. "Is everyone okay?" I asked.

"Yeah." said Karla.

"We're good." said Jeremiah.

I nodded. "Hey, where's Clarissa?" Karla asked.

My eyes went wide. "She probably went another direction! We have to find her before anything bad happens to her!"

"Wait - why are you so concerned about Clarissa all of a sudden?" Jeremiah asked. "You like her, huh?"

My face turned red a little bit. "What? No way! You're talking crazy." I said. "But still, even if I did like her, we still need to find her. Don't forget that we're elemental! If she gets killed, there's a chance that we can get killed, too!"

"Well, we should probably get going." Said Karla. "Not only do we have to get Clarissa, but we also have to find Evie's mirror. It's the only way to find out the answers to our questions."

"Okay then. Let's go." I said. We had to hold hands just in case another one of us got lost.

👿Mal's POV👿

"Ugh where are those teens?!?!" I shouted in frustration.

"Gee, someone's on Shark Week." said Jay. Evie laughed and fist bumped Jay in a flirty way. Not only was I mad at Jay for getting me frustrated but I also mad at the fact that Evie was flirting with Jay. FLIRTING. Something wasn't right, and I know Evie wouldn't do something like that.

"Jay, I'm not on shark week." I said. "I'm just really anxious to get those elementals. If I can kill all of them and make another love spell, I'll have Bennyboo in my arms once again!"

"So this is all for Ben to like you again?" Evie asked.

I nodded and heard Carlos talking to himself. "It sucks being bad. I was just pretending in the first place."

"I know how that feels. When my crush rejected me, I started to become a rude, selfish diva. Looking back at it makes me hate myself."

"Don't hate yourself. There's lots of people that love you."

"Like who?"

"Me."

I realized it was an elemental teen that Carlos was talking to. I turned around to face him in the darkness. "Carlos! You just happened to capture an elemental teen! But since you've fallen in love and lied about being evil, I guess I have to kill you."

"Wait what?" said Clarissa. I snapped my fingers and they were both out like a light.

"Perfect." I said. As soon as I opened my spell book, though, I saw a sticky note. I couldn't read it because it was so dark.

"Magic mirror, in the night. Show a girl a little light." said Evie, as if she was reading my mind.

Don't you get it, Mal? You're not powerful enough to defeat Karla, Clarissa, Jeremiah, and Kai. In fact, I bet I can get them before you do. I know their weaknesses, and how to take away their powers. Once I win, you and your friends are next. Then it's your precious Ben.

Come stop me if you can.
- ????????

"Ha ha, very funny Jay!" I shouted.

"Mal, that wasn't me." said Jay. "You've seen my handwriting and you know it's not like that. Someone is also on the run for them, and we need to find out who."

Jay looked at me, I looked at Evie, Evie looked straight back at me.
