I climb on the train with Ron chasing after me.
"Give me back my wand, Abi," he yells.
"Come and get me," I shout back, still running. I hold his wand above my head like a trophy, laughing like Bellatrix. I push through the people on the train, gaining weird looks. Okay, I don't know why I have gotten weirder, but I just embrace it. A pair of arms wrap around my torso, pulling me against my boyfriend's chest.
"Hello," he smiles down at me.
"Hey Draco," I smile back. Ron grabs his wand and look at Draco.
"Malfoy," my brother hisses.
"Weasley," my boyfriend hisses back.
"Boys," I intervene. "No more fighting."
"Fine."
"Maybe."
The maybe was from my brother, but I will accept it. I wave to my brother and Draco grabs my hand as we head to the Slytherin cart.

I clap as the first years finish being sorted into a house. Not many joined this year, all because of a bloody rumor that the Ministry spread. The food appears on the golden plates and people start stuffing their faces. Okay, mostly my brothers. I can easily see them from the Slytherin table. Dumbledore rises and looks at all of us as he states the rules. The fact that there is a new one is funny. Mostly because I help give the professors a reason to make it.
"We have two new professors," Dumbledore states. "Professor Grubby-Plank has agreed to fill in for Hagrid while he is out." Bloody hell. No Hagrid means boring class. "And may we please welcome Professor Umbridge. May she have more luck than the others. Now we..."
"Thank you Professor Dumbledore," a toad like woman in pink interupts. "The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. Every headmaster and headmistress of Hogwarts has brought something new to the weighty task of governing this historic school, and that is as it should be, for with out progress there will be stagnation and decay. There again, progress for progress's sake must be discouraged, for our tried and tested traditions often require no tinkering. Let us move forward, then, into a new era of openness, effectiveness, and accountability, intent on preserving what ought to be preserved, perfecting what needs to be perfected, and pruning wherever we find practices that ought to be prohibited."
To shorten that up, the Ministry of Magic decided to take over Hogwarts. We are sent to our dorms.
"Bloody hell," I practically shout. "The Ministry can't do that."
"They can and they have," Draco points out. We plop on the couch as I put on my Prefect badge. That's right. Percy's dream came true. I'm a Prefect just like everyone from my family except the older twins. Ginny doesn't count since she is a fourth year still. Draco does the same and we stand up at the same time.
"It is just an mistake," I continue. "No way they can truly believe Voldemort is not back."
"There are tons of Death Eaters in the Ministry. And Fudge is not that hard to manipulate. He is only there for the position."
"As are many politicians these days."
I nod my head and we both walk out for patrol. I have the fifth floor though. So fun. Not. It is actually quite lonely. I pass by the Hufflepuff Prefect and wave at her. She waves back and head to her shift. This is going to be a long shift.
