Your P.O.V.
"Prom is in a month. The guy of my dreams, Cameron, has not asked me yet. I am slightly stressed out and I need to get a dress soon. But what if he doesn't asked me? What if Cam ones with another pretty girl?" I say to my friend Sydney.
"Girl, chill. He will ask you I am sure of it. He is a boy you just have to be patient."
"You sure?"
"I am a 100% sure." She said.
We finished talking and them it was time for the egg hunt at my church. I had to go help the younger children find eggs.
As I arrived, I saw the swell turn out and I got in my place ready to help find eggs. I was helping a set of twins, Maddie and Marcus, find eggs. "Look Maddie, over here! Hurry before Marcus takes your egg! Run girl run!" I said jokingly toward the two year old. Then a little girl who looked very familiar yet I didn't not recognize her handed me a empty egg. "Umm, why are you handing me your egg?"
"It's not my egg, it's his!" She said pointing toward Cameron. Cameron gave me a goofy smile. I smiled like an idiot for at least 10 seconds. Then, I hesitated but I opened his egg and using foam stickers on a piece of paper he spelt out:
P R O M ?
"Cam, I don't know what to say?" with tears filling my eyes.
"I hope you would said yes." he said as he embraced me in a huge bear hug.
When he let go I looked into his eyes and said, "yes." I then pecked a kiss on his lips and hugged him once more and went back to helping Maddie and Marcus. Cam decided to work with us and helped with Marcus and I helped Maddie. Even though we tried to help hunt eggs we both could not stop glancing over out shoulders to each other.
•Later that evening•
"Hey Sydney! You will never guess what happened....." As I tell my best friend everything that had happened today.
