Part 7 One sick baby

Dani's Point of view

"Babe ill be right back gotta go call Kacie" Harry looks at me with such loving eyes and says "Okay babe hurry back, im hungry need to eat!" all I can do is smile at the amazing man in front of me. (Calling Kacie) "ello""Niall its Dani, wait why are you answering Kacies phone? what did you do to her?" I laugh "Oh ya know the usual...haha shes still sleeping. Hey what did you think of your surprise?" again all I can do is smile remembering everything that just took place. "It was beyond words Niall thank you soo much for teaching him, it made it all the more special that you would do that!" "Hey no problem i love both of you guys and would do anything for both of you. Oh hey Kacie just woke up, here she is, congrats by the way" "Thanks" Kacie grabs the phone and talks to me "Hey Dani what happened?" "OHMYGOSH Kacie i wish you could have seen it, but kinda glad you didnt, it was so intimate and special!!!" "sorry i didnt wake up, Ni just brought me straight here, back to the house before i even got a chance to say bye...and what did he do?"

"well, in short he and Niall had been doing private seshes of Nialler teaching Harry to play guitar and taught him "Kiss Me" by Ed and it was soooo romantic and then he proposed and i cried like a little baby. Kacie i am sooo in love with Harry, right when he got home i told him about how i thought he was cheating on me. And when he finished the song he said that me asking him that, made his heart sink...that he hadnt ever look at another women since wed been together and that he is in love with me, and this long amazing speech that was so emotional and touching. Then he asked me to marry him. AND I SAID YES! im getting married!!!!" "well its about time, Ni and i thought you guys would get married before us, but boy were we wrong. Being married is Amazing Dani youll love it! im so freaking happy for you" Kacie looks at Niall smiling like an idiot. "Thanks i cant wait to start planning mine and Harry's wedding it will be a fairytale wedding." "Yes it will, alright darlin. Niall and i need to go shopping for some stuff and get food for our house, ill call you tonight!!! Have fun with Harry today, again a huge congrats to you both. Ni and i love you guys, double date tomorrow?" "Yeah that sounds good Kacie. we love you guys too and thanks again!!!" hangs up the phone. Harry comes up behind me pulling you into a giant bear hug and kisses the top of my head. The two of us go out to lunch and talk about how excited we are now that were engaged, and all the details we want our wedding to be like: When, and where and so on.

Kacies POV

I look at the photo remembering that day like it was yesterday, of her just needing a friend really bad and i was there for her no matter what, like true best friends/ sisters. We always said "Sisters before Misters" which was still sorta true. But being married now there were just some things that i had to prioritize out of that saying. Like if Dani ever asked me to keep things from Ni i would have to say that i cant lie to him about anything or hide anything from him. Its just not what a true strong relationship is built on, there built on trust and honesty. I must have really been thinking hard about all this because i didnt notice when Niall came in and sat next to me on the bed. "ready to go babe?" and i looked at him just with the biggest cheesiest smile on my face. "Yeah, lets go." i say and grab his hand in mine, we head out of the room walking towards the others. Everyone seemed so happy and cheery, even Liam. I guess he was excited for Kristen to get here tomorrow. I was over the moon, i had my best friend/husband, my sister, my daughter and my "Brothers" it cant get any better than this. We got to dinner and it was a fancy Chinese restaurant, nice and quite because we had the back all to ourselves. Well it was quite until Harry and Niall started talking really loud to the other boys, as if they cant hear them when they talk in their normal voices. But Dani and i just looked at each other and rolled our eyes, we knew they were just excited everyone was back together. I dont blame them, it hasnt been like this in over a year and a half. I mean yeah Dani, Harry, Niall and i have had dates together but we havent all been together for a long time. This was amazing i was beyond happy tonight NOTHING could ruin it. I spoke to soon, Erin comes up to me. "Mommy, im not feeling well" i feel her forehead and shes burning up with a fever. I look at Niall. "Niall, we have to go." "Babe we just got here." "Niall, WE HAVE TO GO....." he looks at me more serious this time. "Whats wrong?" "Erin has a fever, shes getting sick" he feels her forehead. Wearing this really worried face, "Its okay baby girl well get you to the doctor and get you medicine." I look at my baby girl feeling that 'Helpless' feeling that i hate so much. We all leave the restaurant and head to the hospital, this wasn't one of those 'oh she just has a small fever' times. She was way too hot, we had to rush her there. She said a few time that she was cold and shaking. We got her there and were in the room waiting for the dr to come back and see us. "Babe i hope she doesnt have anything to serious" i feel tired and defeated at this point. "Princess, shell be okay, she always gets through this stuff, shes a Horan. We dont back down at the sight of sickness." He gives me a small encouraging smile, it only worked for a couple seconds until the doctor comes in the room. "Hello my name is Dr. Quincy, what seems to be the problem here?" i look my baby girl sitting on the table. Niall looks at the doctor and starts talking "Well we were just at dinner, and our daughter came over and talked to my wife and told her that she wasnt feeling well. And Kacie felt her head and its super hot so, we rushed her here." "Hmmmm well let me take a look, whats your name little girl?" Erin looks at Niall scared, she doesnt like strangers, but Niall nodded to Erin to tell him her name "Erin" she said with her quite little voice. "Alright Erin, this will be a little cold, But i need you to take a deep breath for me" he said as he put the stethoscope on her chest she does as he asked "again" she does it again. "Again" and she does it again, "Now once more" she responds with breathing hard for him. "Okay well she sounds a little congested... I'm going to take a quick breathing test for her and see whats going on." "Thank you Doctor" Ni says as the doctor leaves the room. "good job baby girl i know you're scared, so am i. But don't worry Daddy and i are here with you" she puts her arms out to Nialler wanting him to hold her and comfort her. He picks her up and buries her head in his neck. Shes shaking and scared, i just wanted to cry, knowing my little wasn't feeling well and i bet she felt so overwhelmed. The doctor came back with the results of her test, "She has a small stomach flu. She will be okay once she takes these anti biotics." "Dr. Quincy we were going to head home in a few days my daughter and i, will she be okay to travel?" he looks at me confused. "Why do you look so familiar?" he looked at Niall. Ni just smiled "I'm in a band called One Direction, my wife and daughter came and surprised me from London where we live," the dr smiled. "Thats it my daughters love your band, and now that you mention traveling. That might have been where she caught this little bug. If she seems better by the time you need to leave then yes. You should be fine!" The dr says smiling. "Alright thanks doc for everything." Ni says as we leave taking the anti-biotics with us.

We head out into the waiting area where everyone was sitting waiting for us to tell them how everything was. "Well it turns out she has a small flu, but they gave us medication to give her and she should be fine." i say with a sigh of relief. Everyone decided we'd head back to the hotel so Niall and i could Erin back to the room. And since there are a few restaurants in the hotel, Liam, Louis, and Zayn decided to go for some food. Thats when Dani came up to me asking if id babysit for them while they go out. I said sure, since Sammy should be headed to bed soon anyways, since it was 9 already and hes 2. So i see Dani go get Sammy from Harry's arms and give him to me, since Ni was holding our sick daughter. We head up stairs feeling bad that we ruined everyones night. But its not like i planned for my baby to get sick, i felt so bad for her, shes so little and she was dizzy and has been tired all day.

Danielles POV

"Hey Harry, wanna go Ice Skating? I gave Sammy to Kacie and Nialler." Harry gave me a worried look for a minute, then he just smiled. "Ofcourse babe, do you have any skates with you?" thats what i forgot. "No but cant we rent some?" he just looked at me "No lets go buy some, because i need some too." "Are you sure? i mean we could just rent some." "It just as much to rent em, then to get our own." he says dead set on buying them. We go to a near store and find some that fit perfectly we both buy them and head out super excited to go ice skating. We both walk to Central Park, hand in hand and I get the chills so Harry takes off his jacket and puts it on me. We find a bench so we can sit down and put our skates on. We hit the ice and i start sliding across the ice, its like i was born on the ice, i felt so comfortable on it. Harry seemed to know what he was doing also, he just skated right over to me with no problem. "Hey babe, come over here" i say to Harry. "Whats up, Babe?" he finally catches up with you. "Are you glad we came and surprised you guys?" i ask him catching him off guard. "Ofcourse i am!! I missed you the second we got in to the car, ive talked about you and Sammy to Paul and the boys non-stop! You guys are my life and when i go on the road i get upset, but i know i get to come home to you and our son soon enough. And when i do it will be even more amazing!" I cant hel but smile at my amazing and caring husband, but i start to get cold and i think Harry sees this because he hands me his jacket. "Maybe we should go back to the hotel, its kinda cold and our son is with Niall and Kacie and their sick daughter. I had so much fun babe forgot how much fun we have when, we dont have Sammy!" i laughed and he just stared at me, causing me to stop, "What?" i asked all self consious that i have something on my face. "Nothing, i just havent seen you this happy in a while. I love hearing you laugh!" We headed back to the hotel to find our adorable little 2 year old passed out on our bed. He was sprawled across the whole bed. "Thanks for taking him Kacie, he was really tired when we were at dinner and we needed time away for a little while." "Hey no problem, but when we came back we got our selves a our own room, cuz i missed Ni so much and he told me that, well that we could spend tonight alone. Alone from everyone, not that we dont love you guys its just this is the only alone time well have. And that gives you guys alone time too :) "
