Lisbon looked out of the window in her bureau, the weather was nice, but she wasn't interested in that. No, tons of reporters were standing outside the building, they were waiting on her.
The team just solved an important case and of course she had to give a statement.
Suddenly someone knocked on her door, it was Jane.
"Come in" she smiled and reached out for the papers that were laying on her desk, she had to go through everything again before she could go out there and answer tons of questions.
Jane laid his hand on her shoulder
"You're shaking! Come on, let's try something!"
"Try what??" Lisbon raised an eyebrow, sometimes she just couldn't trust Jane, his ideas were confusing as fuck.
"Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Count down from 10 to 1... Good. You did this so many times before, this time I didn't mess up and you don't have to apologize. Just answer they're questions."
Lisbon did as he said and smiled "Thanks Jane"
Then she left.
La roché, the head of the CBI was already waiting on her down stairs and attended her to the lectern that was standing outside. The first Journalist Lisbon spotted was a red haired woman. She was damn pretty, and her blue eyes sparkled. The woman was talking to two other mans, probably her co workers or other Journalists. Cameras started flashing when Lisbon started talking, the first question was from the pretty woman
"Was it hard to solve the case?"
"In the beginning it was, but our consultant and my team did great work, and after we had hacked into the cell phone, everything was pretty easy!"
"I heard that it was illegal what you did!" The woman asked.
"No statement!"
"Why? Are you scared of something? I mean you have to go the right way don't you? Is it true that you arrested him under false pretenses?"
"Still no statement! Are there other questions?"
"Yeah. Where the proves you showed the court even right??" The woman AGAIN.
How can someone so hot, be so annoying, Lisbon thought to herself and just ignored her. The others weren't as tough as the woman, and Lisbon was able to answer them.
Totally exhausted she returned into the bureau, where a huge pizza was already waiting on her.
"CASE CLOSED PIZZA!" Rigsby screamed from across the room
Lisbon laughed "God I really need this right now"
"Was it that bad?" Vanpelt asked and grabbed a piece of pizza.
"Nah... there was a really penetrant woman that wouldn't stop asking the same question, but now it's over."
Vanpelt smirked "Hey I was wondering if you wanna go to the new bar opening tonight, Rigs is busy with Cho" she looked over to him, but he acted like he didn't even hear her.
Lisbon nodded "Yeah sure I'll be there by 8!"
"Good!"
And all the time Jane just had eyes for Lisbon, he really liked her, he was in love with her.

It took Lisbon 2 hours to look acceptable for a bar, she had to lay the cop down, even though it was written on her forehead. She was wearing a black cocktail dress and matching heels.
When she arrived at the club, Grace was already waiting on her
"What took you so long, good thing we're on the list!"
"Sorry someone stole my cab and since I live downtown I just walked IN THOSE SHOES"
Vanpelt laughed and the two of them entered the club after Grace seduced the doorman.
"Is this what you meant when you said we're on the list?" Lisbon asked confused and Vanpelt couldn't do anything else but laugh.

Lisbon sat down on the bar while Grace was flirting and dancing on the dance floor.
It just hasn't been her day 1. the hot journalist 2. The JOURNALIST and 3...
"Hey!" THERE WAS THE HOT JOURNALIST SITTING DOWN NEXT TO HER.
Lisbon had no idea what to say. On the one side she really wanted to know that woman, probably even be close to her, but on the other side she seemed very very stressful since she asked all those questions.
"He..y" was everything she was able to say, they didn't even know each other.
The woman smiled  and threw her curled up, long hair behind her back "I'm sorry for what happened earlier that day, I... I really didn't meant to box you like this, it's just my job and.."
"It's okay!" Lisbon was still kinda annoyed but that smile, she probably was able to forgive her.
"So since you know my name, I think it's rude that I don't know yours"
"It's Cordelia, Cordelia Frey. I am working for the New York times magazine, I interview like all the stars over here, LA and stuff. I'm 33 years old, and I won a Pulitzer Prize two years ago"
Lisbon smiled and turned her head, like she always did when she didn't know how to react, so she thought the best way was just to tell Cordelia more about herself, i thing she usually never really did before.
"Well you already know my name and my job, so what else is left? I celebrated my 34th birthday 3 weeks ago, and that's it basically. I'm not very interesting. Do you have a boyfriend?"
She didn't know why she asked such a silly question, it usually wasn't her way.
"I'm pretty sure you are a very interesting person... and about the other thing... I am a lesbian, so nope, no boyfriend, and no girlfriend"
Lisbon didn't know why this made her so happy, well she kinda did, because she liked Cordelia.
"Can I order you a drink?" Cordelia beckoned the bartender over.
"Two cosmopolitans!"
Lisbon was confused "How do you know what I want?"
"Because no matter how hard you try... you're classic... and..." she pointed at the empty glass on the bar "it's what you drank before"

Two hours later they were still talking, they didn't run out of  topics, childhood, jobs, relationships...
"So do you have a boyfriend?" Cordelia took a pull on her cigarette. It was drizzling and little drops landed on her cigarette.
"No... I..." Lisbon was stuttering " I am a lesbian"
Cordelia looked surprised.
"What?" she smiled.
"Well" she took another pull "I just did not had that much luck in a while"
Then she leaned over, ready to kiss Teresa...
"BOSS!!" it was Vanpelt, slamming the door of the rear exit "WE GOTTA GO I JUST MADE A HUGE MISTAKE. Also I feel kinda drunk"
Embraced Lisbon turned her head away, but gave Cordelia a wink to follow her.

After they had taken Vanpelt home, and brought her into bed, they walked all the 10 blocks to Lisbon's apartment.
"Teresa, I'd really like to see you again, can I maybe take you out for lunch or dinner tomorrow?"
"Of course!" Lisbon was grinding like a cherish cat, and then Cordelias lips crashed hers.
It was magical, a firework.
"I'll get you tomorrow at 1pm. Good Night Teresa"
"Good Night"
