Amanda senior year of high school was amazing. It's the year she met Alex Jenner. Alex was a junior at the time. They were madly in love. But as everyone knows, seniors graduate in May. Amanda was an early graduate; so, she left for college in December. Alex was broken when he had to say goodbye. But Amanda would not say goodbye because she knew she would see him again, he doubted that though. She kissed him goodbye. Then, she got into the truck and drove off to her new school. She got to the red light, wiped away her tears before the light turned green again. All Alex could think of was the times they had together and won't see each other again.
The last words Amanda said to him before she left were, "I love you and I will see you again. I promise."
Alex said to himself while they kissed goodbye, "no, you won't."
He also promised himself that he would never love again. He kept his promise, and rejected all the girls that tried to date him.
