The new girl walked threw the halls of beacon hills high school getting sent stares. It was here first day and she was lost, she finally stumble upon the office and received help from the guidance councillor. He showed her the way to her period one class, when she walked in she noticed people staring, even the teacher.

"This is Kat Hamilton, she will be joining you all for the semester." The guidance councillor introduced her. "Kat as in the animal?" The teacher asked. "Yes." She nodded. He slightly shook his head. "Take a seat." He motion her to seat in the third row. The boy next to her, Scott Mccall seemed to take a liking to her, or so she thought. "Allison?" He whispered to her. "Who's that?" Kat turned towards him. "Your not Allison?" He asked once again. "No, I'm Kat." She was confused why this new boy thought she was someone else but totally ignored the thought. Many of Scott's friends began to stare at her, she felt awkward because she didn't even know them.

"Hey." A unfamiliar boy said walking up to Kat leaning against the lockers. She scoffed before rolling her pretty brown eyes. And returning towards her locker to put her books away.

"Kat? Right? Maybe we should hang out sometime." She laughed at his attempt to get her to go on a date with him but she had different people in mind.

"Sorry...I'm a lesbian." She smiled walking away. She wasn't really sure where she was walking, just away from that boy. When she turned around she saw the boy talking to Scott. The two brunette boys looked in her direction making her look away in front of her but she still bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry." Kat said picking up the binders then handing them to a beautiful strawberry blonde haired girl. The girl smiled at her, lightly squinting her eyes. Her eyes were so vibrant almost the colour of birch tree leaves.

"I'm Lydia, you must be Kat." The strawberry blonde held out her hand. Kat took her hand and shook it. Her hand was smooth and soft, Kat could smell the lotion coming from them.

"Your welcome to eat with my friends." Lydia continued. Kat smiled before licking her lips and following Lydia to her locker, after they headed to the cafeteria. When she walked in she noticed Scott McCall and his flirty friend, which she still didn't know the name of. She waited in line next to Lydia, she couldn't help but stare into her stunning green eyes, and look at her amazing berry blonde coloured hair.

"So where did you come from?" Lydia decided to make conversation as they walked around for a table. Both of their heels clicked on the marble floor.

"Denver." Kat said instantly, she soon remembered all the good times she had their and all of her friends. She was paying attention when she sat beside Lydia who sat in front of Scott McCall which meant Kat sat in front of the mystery flirter.

"This is Scott, and that's Stiles." Kat smiled at Stiles, she liked the name, it was interesting, rather different.

"I met you in class and I met you at my locker but didn't catch you name." She lightly winked before bitting into her favourite fruit, Strawberries of course.

"Where is everyone else?" Lydia asked curiously both the boys in front of them shrugged which made Kat quite happy, she wasn't good at meeting new people.

Kat sat in her room alone, she felt weird about her new friends, there was something different about them, and she was quite determined to find out. She wondered if it had anything to do with all the killings in Beacon Hills the last to weeks or if it was just something small. She just hated things being kept from her. She stood in front her vanity mirror looking at herself. She couldn't help but think of the strawberry blonde, Kat was lesbian which meant she had a crush on Lydia. She frowned knowing Lydia was into the other gender but she was used to talk happening, she was used to never getting the girl. But maybe that will change. Hopefully.
