Chapter 1
"Strike 3! Batter's out, game OVER!", the ump shouts in the background. Im on the way to my softball game, a very important one i must say.
"Hey! Jae! What's up?"
"Oh hey Kim! You ready for our game?"
"Ya. Who's is pitching?"
"Coach is putting you in for the first and last two innings, then you are catching the third and fourth."
"Oh sweet! Thanks! Are you clean-up batter again?"
"Yep. You are lead off."
"Ok thanx."
I start walking to my game field getting ready to warm up, but then a very farmiliar figure catches my eye. Who is that? Is that... Eric! It is Eric and he os pitching! Im might stay and watch for a little.
"Strike! POP! Ball. POP. Ball. POP. Strike! POP. Strike 3! Green team wins!"
Eric makes his way into the dugout, trying to avoid being pummeled by his teammates.
"Oh! CJ! Do you have a game?"
"Ya do you? Oops i meant like another one." He chuckles at my nervousness.
"Haha nope. This is it."
"Oh. Well I'll see you after the game then?", i ask.
"Sure thing", he says kindly then winks. Wow. He really is something. But now i have to focus on my game.
