As Jenson awoke to the bright morning sun, shining through the living room curtains, Laura continued to work at a desk in the far corner of the room. When he blinked his eyes, the morning grog still remained, and he yawned from the presence of a new day; the weekend had begun on a Saturday. Laura typed away at her computer, as Jenson walked upstairs to his room.
In his room he found nothing, besides his bed with posts of carved wood and a dresser, weathered and old. His window was open, he'd left it open before he left school yesterday morning, before the storm. This would explain why his room was scattered, with clothes on the floor and papers on his sheets and windowsill. He didn't only find nothing, but he found it everywhere.
