Kageyama's P.O.V.

"Aaaaaahhhh, squishy couch..." I sigh as I plop onto the couch heavily and sigh. It was a rough day at school. Strenuous tests are not exactly my forté. I lift up my arm and look at my phone to see my old sempai (well, I say old but it's a love-hate "relationship"), Oikawa Turo, has texted me. "Just talk to Iwaizumi-kun already, stop bothering me..." I mumble as I reply to his stupid text. I lay there, motionless for another 5 minutes until I hear a scratching on my sliding glass door. I slowly turn my head sideways towards the door. For pet owners, this would be a usual sound.... but.... I'm not a pet owner.... and this is not a usual sound. I stand up slowly and walk up to the door to see a sleek, short-haired black cat with a bit of orange fur tufted and slightly hanging in its face. The cat looked maybe a year old, but they way he looked made it clear that something was wrong with his hip. "Oooh...! Poor little guy..." I hesitate to open the door, knowing a cat in distress will kill you.... no no.... lick you? Bite you? Oooooh what was Lev rambling on about again? "Ah! Hang on little guy..." I say with a smile and get some oven mits.... just in case...
Slowly I open the door and lift the cat, carry him over to the table, and gently, GENTLY set him down, trying not to hurt him. "Who to call.... I don't have Lev's email... ah!" I quickly find Kuroo and call him up. "...." he picks up but I hear nothing.... still nothing... "AAHHHH OHOHOHO KAGEYAMA-KUNNNNN LONG TIME NO TALK!!!!!" I jumble the phone in my hands while I have a mini-heartattack. "Kuroo-senpai, we work at the same library, I see you everyday..."
"Calling for relationship advice? Eh? Who's the special lady?"

"It's not about a relationship and you can't even hardly get Kenma-chan to talk to you..."

"Hey hey too far"

"Sorry, sorry... just, is Kenma or Lev there?"
...silence...
"Oh, yep, Lev is right here. Bye bro. Love ya"

"Yeah yeah, whatever"

"Kageyama-senpai? It's Lev!"

"H-hi... umm, you were the first person I thought I should call... a cat just wandered up to my door, I think his hip is dislocated...?"
...more silence...
"On my way"

Lev had the cat bandaged up in no time. On both legs, we completely wrapped him in tape I use for my hands in volleyball and around his waist. Soon after, Lev left and I decided to keep the cat. I couldn't just let it out on its own! He could be hit by a car?
"Sooo, little kitty, time for bed. C'mon!" I tapped my leg and the cat waddled behind me happily twitching his tail. I get in bed and he surprisingly lays right on my chest, purring. I slightly blush and pet his back. Every time I got near his tail he lifted his butt. Lev said it's normal??? Whatever, I was just happy me and the cat were getting along.
"Were gonna have to find a name for ya, huh? How about... Crow? Little Crow?"
The cat trilled in response.
"Ok. Little Crow it is."
I smile happily and kiss the cats forehead before nodding asleep.
