Nikita's POV
Seeing Ryan again caused my whole expression to soften. His words caused my heart to speed up it's pace.
I looked in his sapphire blue eyes that captivated my soul.
Can someone get me a map? I think I'm lost in his eyes.
His lips were moving but no sound came out or maybe it did but I'm not paying attention. My eyes travelled to his lips and back to his eyes. I don't know how long I was like that but soon I saw fingers snapping infront of my face and that brought me out of my daze.
Suddenly I heard the music again and laughter and chatting nearby and then I looked up at Ryan.
What's wrong with you? Get a grip, will ya ?
He chuckled " Were you even listening?"
"I was just lost for a while" I said but then he smiled and I knew maybe I sounded cheeky and that's not me
"Staring at that boy over there..." I hurriedly continue. His smile dropped instantly " Wow he's hot...wanna take a look? He's that boy standing.... in the green shirt over there" I lied while randomly choosing a guy. He fell for my trick by looking around probably ready to beat the guy's gut out but I quickly walked away and hid myself in the crowd.
Whew! Well that was awkward. Suddenly, I felt strong hands pulling me
"What the h-" but I stopped when I saw that it was only Jermaine
"I'm sorry but I know you wouldn't hear me if I called your name so I had no other choice " he explained
"It's okay but don't do that again " I warned. I was getting in my attack mode when he did that, it's a good thing I didn't punch him because that would've created a scene.
"Yeah so I was wondering if you wanted to come upstairs with me-"
"No Ofcourse not!" Did he think I'm a wh*re.
"No not in that way" he quickly replied while rubbing the back of his neck "Just to show you something. It's a beautiful view and I thought maybe I could show it to my beautiful girlfriend too. "
I began wondering if I should believe him or not
"Just don't over think things Nik, I just thought it would be nice but if you don't want to, let's just return to the party and have a dance. "
"No no it's okay, I'll go with you" I reassured him. I mean what could possibly go wrong?? I won't be taking long anyways.
Although I still had that nasty feeling but I pushed it at the back of my mind.
I watched as he smiled and took my hand in his and began leading the way.
"Although, I'd love to do otherwise " he whispered in my ears
I simply rolled my eyes and looked down on the mass of people. My eyes met a pair of familiar blue ones looking sadly at me but when our eyes connect he quickly walked away.
I felt a pang of guilt.
Wait what?! GUILT?!!

I don't know how far up we went but we finally came to a stop. The room was pretty huge and had only two large fluffy sofas. The music could hardly be heard and I walked to where I saw an entire glass window overlooking the city.
It was a breathtaking sight and an inaudible gasped escaped my lips. All the smaller building could be seen and the twinkling lights that each building gave. With all the different colours they looked like pepperlights blinking on a Christmas tree. The stars shone brightly too along with the full moon illuminating the area. All these lights beautifully reflected in the sea that was a little beyond.
"Do you like it" Jermaine asked. I even forgot he was there.
I nodded " I do" I said just below a whisper.
"Well I'm glad you do because it's the last time you'll be having a beautiful moment like this one" I heard a deep voice, smoothly saying but I knew better. Behind it held power and rage.
I quickly turned around because I knew that voice didn't belong to Jermaine.
"Who are you?" I asked. I couldn't see anyone because the room was dimly lit. Only the moon light peered dimly through the glass.
I looked at Jermaine but he just shrugged.
What the heck?! Shrug, really?"
The lights were switched on but you know how your eyes get foggy like or you can barely see when you move from a bright area to a dark one or from a dark area to a bright one? Yeah well that's what happened just now. I had to quickly close my eyes so they could be adjusted to the bright light.
When I finally open them, they widened for a second and my heart skipped a beat.
Before I could say anything, Jermaine grasped my hand tightly and brought them behind my back.
What is he doing?
"I'm sorry Nik" he whispered and then it all came crashing down on me.
I've been played all along and I foolishly fell in their little trap

Sorry for the late update but I had to sort out some stuff. Yh I know this Chapter is short but I couldn't make it any longer. I want to keep the suspense going.
