Uh so I was thinking about someone and just came up with this. I hope you like this story. I haven't thought about continuing this story. Maybe my friend will write other chapters. Enjoy and cote (vote+comment) people ^_^.
She gazed at him through her long eyelashes flirting with some other girl. 'Why? Why was she infatuated with him?' was the only thing that ran in her mind.
Slipping off of the chair and keeping a 10 pound note on the counter, she barged out of the club with annoyance. Thinking about him, she started walking on the road all alone. The way he talked, his smart comebacks, lines, replies and he was ruling her mind. Her head was in a whirl. It was an unfathomable obsession.
Sighing and rubbing her temples she took a seat on the bench at the corner of the road. What was in him? She kept asking herself the same question again and again. It was his personality. Deep down she knew but wasn't that sure of it. Only personality couldn't do it. There had to be something else for this craziness. She couldn't like a jerk could she? He was the kind of guy who flirted with every other girl living on the planet. He even played around with her but never took her seriously. She was glad he did not because she had this inkling that whatever she had with him would be lost in a minute. An arrogant, aggressive and a bitchy personality he had but he still attracted her to him. She was perilous to breaking down because of him but not for him .He was an incorrigible flirt.
She had gotten herself into a dangerous problem but she had to incur with it. They started off as friends. The attention he gave her was very overwhelming but it wasn't the first time she was getting attention from someone.
Engrossing others was in her genes. Being the first child of her parents, she had been given extra attention. The first girl in the whole family after so many boys made her the princess of many hearts. Then popularity at school, immersing everyone in her tution classes and enthralling everyone in the social events gave Lexi Adam the confidence that many lacked in them but here she was hazardously close to crying. Sulking in the corner she thought of herself as nothing but a normal rock in front of him. At least that's what she thought and broke herself down by being a pessimist. It was never easy for her. They flirted, passed friendly gestures, fought and made up. The things were same for some time but then suddenly her life turned upside down. He started drifting away being ignorant and oblivious to the fact that it affected her. She realized what she wanted but she was obstinate so acting nonchalantly was the only option she had.
Being a coldhearted bitch helped her in the past to avoid these feelings but she changed because she was tired of giving a cold shoulder to the world and getting hurt by every way possible. She changed and started showing the world her inside sweetness but soon realized it wasn't the best decision of her life. She got herself into another problem. A problem that a part of her never wanted to get rid off but another part of her wanted opposite. When she finally started enjoying being a sweet and caring person she got close to a guy who shared the same personality as her. He had those same flaws and qualities which she had in her before. Being bitchy and hard as rock on the outside and sensitive on the inside but that last thing wasn't for her as she knew she wasn't worth anything in his eyes. The ignorance she got from him hurt her and proved her wrong every time making a little part inside of her die again and again. She constantly thought about him. Her last thoughts before sleep and the first thoughts in the morning were all about him.
It was all wrong. She knew it from the beginning. They fought everyday which proved that they wouldn't last a week.
They were identical. He had a high temper, mood swings and same building sized ego which always kicked in when it came to apologizing. Their likes, dislikes, habits hell everything matched except some facts and obviously their genders. They were quite alike but weren't meant to be.
"If that's the case then why can't I get over him?" she muttered to herself. Why did it hurt every time she was being ignored? Why whenever she got a text, she wished it was him? Shaking her head to her thoughts as she knew she wasn't going to get answers from anywhere she stood up and headed towards her abode. This guy who controlled her mind was Lucas Grayson, her close friend. Shaking her head for the second time on her porch she stepped ahead into her house and closed the door behind her.
"Lex, Are you alright?" Her mum's voice startled her. She looked straight into the concern filled eyes of her mother and responded with a nod. Though she was perfectly fine and healthy on the outside, the situation wasn't same on the inside. She was messed up emotionally.
"Don't forget about tomorrows party Lexi", Mrs Adam reminded her. Nodding again she skimped on the stairs and ran to her room having his thoughts again. She had to get over him to keep their friendship and once she got over him she'd tell him. He deserved to know. Dropping her belongings onto the table she slumped, exhausted on her bed and closed her eyes.
