All I could hear was a cludder of yelling and screaming. The smokey room still smelled of drugs and I coughed slighty.

"Get off me! Get off me now!" A girl screamed.

A large crowed of people blocking my veiw from what I thought was a fight.

I checked around for the gun that produced the sound but could see nothing suspicious.

"No, you shouldn't of touched me!" Another girl with a nasal voice yelled back.

I closed my eyes and pushed through the crowed of people. I opened my eyes and saw Elizabeth rolling on the floor clearly getting beat up. The girl was laying several blows to her face.

Elizabeth's bloody face was wet  from tears. She was swinging constantly at the black haired girl but was only hitting air. Probably from her swollen closed eyes. I felt my own eyes tear up. Even though me and Elizabeth didn't like each other, I didn't think anyone deserved to be beaten up like that!

"Someone help her!" I shouted loudly.

It got drowned out.

"Please help her!" My eyes flickered around the room for someone to help. I couldn't see anyone but strangers.

The next thing I knew I was attacking the girl. I completely black out, but heard many shouts of "Damn!"

I felt my hand's repeatedly punching something hard and it definitely was a face.

I stopped and stepped back looking at what I had done.

The black headed girl was staring at me with wide eyes. Her lip and nose were bleeding.

"Everyone, everyone get the fuck out!" I shouted.

The crowd fell silent but no one moved.

"Get out now unless you want to be arrested."

People started to appear from different rooms and then groups started to leave the house. I stood there waiting until everyone left to finally look at Elizabeth.

I stared at her in shock.

"What?" she questioned. "Did you want a hero cookie or something?"

I couldn't believe what she was saying, after what I just did for her. Glaring at her I finally turned on my heel to walk away.

"Hey!" she called from behind me.

"What?" I growled giving her the rudest look I could.

"T-thanks.. I guess."

My look softend and I actually held sympathy for her.

Elizabeth was staring hard at the ground, pretending to focus on anything but me.

"Your welcome.. I guess."

With my final words said I went to turn and go to my room.

Resting my head on my pillow I felt my breath become steady, and slow. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep.

"Hey."

"What the-! Elizabeth!" I jumped up holding my chest.

"I didn't mean to scare you." She grinned.

"Well you did anything but that."

"Sorry."

"Yeah, but did you need something."

"Come with me." She said grabbing my hand.

"What? why?" I questioned taking my arm from her grasp.

Instead of responding she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me from my bed causing me to groan. I was seriously tired and she wakes me up without reason.

"I want to show you something. Its really important." Elizabeth pleaded.

"Bring it to me then."

"We have to drive to get there."

I wasn't exactly sure what she meant by that, but I just thought it'd be quicker to go along with it. I grabbed my sweater quickly tossing it on and headed outside into the chilly wind. Soon enough we were driving out of the drive way and out onto the road.

After what seemed like hours of silent driving I decided to speak up.

"Where are we going?" My eyes searching for signs out by the dirt country road. I got no reply. Her hands were tense and she kept her eyes on the road.

"Did you even hear me?" I tried a second time.

Still no reply.

I turned my head and looked outside of the window and noticed we were at a grave yard. My heart started to race and I glanced from the grave sight to Elizabeth and then back to the eerie looking place. She turned into the open gate of the sight pulled in. Turning and moving around the road she pulled the car to a stop and jumped from the vehicle.

"Follow me." She demanded before closing the door.

I sighed before following her actions. Elizabeth walks pretty damn fast because she went from being near the car to 3 yards away. I jogged quickly to get near her. This place was creepy.

I then became surprized when I saw her kneel on the ground and gaze intensely at the gravestone.

"My father died." She suddenly spoke up.

I was lost for words. I felt sorry and ashamed not being able to say anything to her.

"Elizabeth-"

"Your mother is here too." She cut me off. "The nurse came and told me that your mother died and where her burial sight was earlier when you were sleeping."

I fell into a coughing fit, choking off of my spit. When I finally stopped Elizabeth stood up and pulled me into a hug.

I nearly fainted. My eyes got ten times wider I'm sure. I never knew Elizabeth hugged anyone besides her boyfriend. She actually was being nice to me, and it felt weird and sisterly-like.

She let go and smiled at me and then crouched back down over the grave.
