Monday mornings are the worst! It's the day everyone dreads. Everyone is exhausted because we only got like three hours of sleep. At least I did. I want to go to sleep earlier but there is this magical place called the Internet that allows me to procrastinate, so I'm stuck doing everything at midnight. Even through I'm not a fan of mornings and I like to arrive ten seconds before the bell, I decide that it was imperative to get here early. I know Brenda and Annabelle are going to be loaded with all the exciting news from their fun weekends. They both have baes that take them out on cute dates while I'm living the sad single life.

Annabelle now has Dylan and Brenda and Carter are as perfect as ever. Ugh! I just love that my friends found guys that fit so perfectly with them. I mean I don't really know Dylan, but Annabelle definitely likes him so I hope the best for her. She is normally great with picking good character. I don't think I would date a guy if Annabelle doesn't approve. She just has an amazing instinct with that kind of stuff.
When I make it to the lunch room, Brenda and Annabelle have already found each other at our normal table. They seem to be in deep conversation when I get there.

"What's up, guys." I ask intruding in their conversation.

"Nothin'. Just talking about what happened this weekend." Annabelle replies.

"Oh yeah! How was your thingy with Señor Charming?" I ask curiously as I sit down by Brenda who is sitting across from Annabelle.

"It. Was. Amazing." She says as she puts dramatic pauses in between each word. "We ended up jumping off the summer cliff! It was awesome! And cold, but mainly awesome! He was sweet and cute and seemed to be a little", she pauses and wiggles her eyebrows as she continues, "mysterious.". Both Brenda and I laugh.

"At the end though, it got a little awkward. I don't know what happened. It was strange. I think I freaked myself out beacause I thought we were going to kiss or something. But, we didn't. We walked our separate ways without a goodbye. Other than that weird moment, I had tons of fun!" Annabelle says as enthusiastic as always.

"Hey! Do you guys- do you smell that?" I ask acting concerned

"No." They both say trying to find the smell.

"I️ think I️ got a whiff of  possible boyfriend?"

"Oh is that what it is?" Annabelle says with a smirk.

"You know what I️ think I️ smell it too." Brenda adds playing along. "Yeah, Dylan and Annabelle go out, I think that's what I'm smelling."

I️ take another quick sniff, "It's a good smell." I finally add with a cheeky look.

We all laugh and after a second Annabelle says, "Y'all know me, I️ am a sure person. I️ don't second guess my thoughts and feelings, but something about him feels dangerous. Even for me." For the first time in a long time Annabelle looks vexed.

"#Dylabelle all day err'y day." I️ say definitively and it did it's trick. Annabelle's face relaxed into its usual smile.

I guess Annabelle was over talking about herself because she asks Brenda how her weekend was. She replied saying it was amazing and that Carter was again, sups cute and wildly romantic!

It's no wonder why Carter is the most popular boy at Quarter High, he treats those close to him as if they are royalty. Anyone would die to be granted with a piece of his generosity. Brenda is so lucky and deserves every bit of it! #Brenter is a ship I've been sailing since the carnival. They are so perfect that it makes my heart ache.

I need a relationship so I can stop obsessing over my friends. Yeah. I need a boyfriend. I'm being left out like a brussel sprout and that is not okay. What if I die alone?! I can't let that happen. My mother would die. Oh god. What if I have to adopt a slew of cats and pretend they're all my children. Yep. That's it I️ am dating the next available guy, I️ refuse to be responsable for killing my mother.
