Love And Hate: Remade

Introduction

It was a usual day in the temple as Steven and the other gems all are resting and doing what they do. Steven wrestles with Amethyst as Pearl and Garnet sit on the couch reading the newspaper. Pearl has no interest in such things but she does like Steven having fun and being safe. Steven takes Amethyst in a headlock holding her down to keep her from escaping meaning he would have to use a bit of his weight to keep her from doing so. Garnet sits with her legs crossed one over the other peacefully as this little match continues. Amethyst cheats using her gem powers to escape. She would then lift him off his feet with a simple motion and suspend him there knowing that he can't escape her no matter what

"You can't move now!" She says as her outstretch arms hold him up where he kicks and tries to wiggle himself free. "That's what you think!" He exclaims as he successfully rolls out of the arms of Amethyst and falls face first onto the floor with a thud making Pearl look up from her reading. "Oh my goodness, Steven are you okay?" The pale gem asks the small chubby teen who sits up holding his head dazed slightly but nothing more. "Y-yeah I'm fine, just a bit dizzy is all." His responses are sorta disoriented and all over the place but Pearl understands enough of what he said. She shows her annoyance with Amethyst by glaring at her. She isn't happy with the roughness but she also knows that without a certain amount of rough things and events happening like in the past Steven may not have been as strong as he is now as well as Connie who is still dating Steven.

Tired and a bit exhausted he goes over to the kitchen where he would then look into the fridge to get water but hears a thump in the cabinets above. He opens one seeing...ONION?! The small child in the cabinet jumps out after taking the last bag of Chaps. "Onion come back here!" Steven exclaims as the other gems are on their feet but are dumbfounded and don't know exactly what to do about this. He stops as he seems to be backed in. But he slips through Steven's legs and jumps through the screen and runs. "Onion we just wanted fixed that!" Steven exclaims still trying to catch the small boy but he stops seeing that he is much to fast for him and breaths heavily for he is out of breath. "You okay?" Amethyst asks jokingly but still sorta serious. "Is it me or does Onion seem to have gotten faster?" The others only shrug still speechless about how the child was able to sneak his way into the temple in the first place let alone able to hide for that long.

Some time goes by as the sun begins to set on this beautiful day. Steven now standing on the porch thinking about the dreams he's had And how he been able to talk with his mother Rose. He sighs a sigh of relief as the wind blows making his hair blow and sway with it. His mind flashed back to when the dream first happened he thought it wasn't real. But she was right there and it was real... What he experienced was real. "Hey mom... Just wanted to thank you again, For everything. Without your extreme amount of patience, kindness, and determination I don't know." *he says aloud but only the seagulls hear this but don't care since their only thought would be food. He goes inside as the sun sets... Lately he has been thinking about a lot of things. Connie and her parents are out of town so they won't be back anytime soon. But the two do call one another to see how the other is doing making sure they're alright and so on. On top of that there hasn't really been any gem attacks lately... The only thing they faced was another warbler from underwater that Garnet didn't finish beating up. He feels warm... The warmth of hours mother's love keeping him the way he is guiding him through this journey they call life.
