It was at school the next day, the day after Jack had caught Andrea. Jack knew, but Andrea didn't. It was no mistake that Jack had caught her, bur he doesn't know that. Jack was still curious about who that boy was. Andrea was sneaky, she made sure he'd find out soon.

"Andrea." Jack's tone was stern as he approached the small girl.

"Yes?" She replied in the most innocent tone she could muster.

"Who was it?" Jack said even harsher this time.

"Who was what?" Andrea knew the innocent act wasn't going to work for long, but it sufficed for now.

"Don't act dumb with me Andrea, I saw you yesterday." Jack slammed his arm on the lockers and leant against it.

"I don't know what you're talking about?" She pulled a convincing puzzled expression, Jack almost believed her. Almost.

"Bullshit!" He said louder than intended. People started to stare. Jack pretended not to notice.

"I wasn't doing anything, Jack. Just leave me alone, okay?" Andrea had an odd look on her face, a look Jack could not place. It was partially disgust, partially puzzlement and something else Jack couldn't place.

Jack sighed heavily and stormed off to P.E. They were doing volleyball, for once.

-

Jack lept across the court to save the ball, the ball smashing off his arm at the last second before it would've hit the ground.

Jack smiled to himself and quickly scrambled to his feet. He watched in delight as his team setter tossed the ball to the spiker and watched as they won the point.

"Jack!" Their teacher gestures him to come over.

"You've been requested at the vice principal's office." The teacher said and Jack didn't start to move yet.

"Go." The teacher looked confused. Jack started walking slowly towards the front office.

He took his time getting there, but arrived after a few minutes. He walked over to the connecting hallway through the principle's office, the head of years' offices and the vice principle's office.

He knocked on the door lightly and a stern voice called his name from inside.

"Jack Gilinsky, take a seat." He walked inside and sat in a comfortable chair across from Mr. Evans, the vice principal.

"Yes, Jack. I would like to discuss your behaviour." He folded his arms on the desk and looked over at Jack.

Jack was confused, this showed through his facial expressions too.

"Ah, you're confused?" He sat back in his chair. "You got in a physical fight on school grounds. At this school we have a no violence policy as you know." He was normally nice to Jack.

Mr. Evans liked Jack as he was always playing sports and helping the schools reputation.

Jack wasn't confused anymore.

"I'm sorry to have to do this Jack, but you will need to be punished for your actions." Jack nodded and stared at Mr. Evans.

"What kind of punishment?" Jack asked.

"Suspension." Mr. Evans sighed and looked at his computer screen.

"However," Mr. Evans paused. "Alternatively I could give you three weeks detention and school service for four weeks." He suggested.

Jack was confused once again. "School service?" Jack asked.

"Community service for the school, come in on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9am through to 11am and help clean the school." Mr. Evans explained.

"It's your choice Jack, two weeks suspension or the detention and school service?" Mr. Evans looked at Jack expectantly.

"Detention and service." Jack sighed.

"Okay, Jack detention starts monday and service starts on Sunday. Any questions." Mr. Evans was typing away at his computer.

"Uh, no." Jack got up to leave.

"Not so fast, Gilinsky." He never took his eyes off the screen. "Sit."

"Is there anything else you need me for?" Jack asked, sitting back down.

"I've just been informed about you tutoring Jack Johnson, is that correct?" Mr. Evans asked.

Jack paused. "Yes, that's correct." Jack nodded.

"As a thank you we will shorten your detention and keep it off of your school record." Mr. Evans turned to Jack again and smiled.

"Thank you, so much." Jack smiled back.

"Anytime, Jack. Now, better get back to class." Jack got up and walked to the door. He opened the door and walked out.

Jack got back into P.E just as the bell rang.

'Shit.' Jack ran to the locker room and quickly got undressed and shoved his clothes on.

Jack grabbed his bag and quickly got to Physics. He sat in his normal seat and got his books out.

-

"Jack!" He heard from behind him. He spun on his heel and saw Andrea running towards him.

"Hey, you okay?" Jack smiled a forced smile.

"Yeah, what time are you picking me up again?"Andrea asked as they walked towards their lockers.

"Uh.." Jack tried to remember the time they agreed. "I'll pick you up at 8." He smiled.

"Great! Okay, see you then." Andrea leant up and kissed Jack's cheek before walking ahead to her locker.

"Jack!" Jack G called to JJ.

"Hey, you ready?" JJ smiled at Jack.

"Yeah, let's go." Jack started walking towards the front door.

-

"Okay, so if you do this page then skip to 73." Jack smiled at the small boy.

"If you need help just ask." Jack smiled once again at the lovestruck boy.

Jack walked through to the kitchen and looked on his phone. three new texts from Matt.

M: Jack, meet Nash and I at Shawn's at 6.
M:Big news apparently.
M: Don't worry we'll be done by 6:30 so you'll have time before Carter's.

Jack thinks about it. Whether to go to Shawn's or stay and call Taylor.

J: sorry matt have to pass see u at carters tho

Jack put his phone down and grabbed a drink.

"Jack!" JJ called from the next room.

"Coming." Jack called back.

Jack walked through to see a shocking sight. He dropped his glass and it smashed on the floor into millions of tiny pieces, many of which piercing Jack's feet.
