Chapter 9 "Numb"

Well hello there, how you guys been? :D

So I'm on a week vacation so that means I can focus on my stories yay!! I also changed the cover for this story a couple times over the days and I stuck with this one.............. what do you guys think do you like the others better???? If you do which one...... also if you guys have any ideas for a cover I would like to see them please:)

OK so I was going crazy over the song for this chapter the songs that I picked for this chapter didn't seem to fit this one, but I chose one " Numb By Linkin Park" I'm still no sure of the song though, but at least you get to hear how Sam played the song Numb.

And another thing lol this is a long author's note lol............. the people that are reading be sure to tell everybody else if you can cause I need all the readers I can so I can get some feedback on this story!!!!

So with that long note being said ... I hope you like this chapter :D

Chapter 9- Numb

     After Kyle told me he loved Jessie we went back to the classroom ignoring all the stares and watched the movie. I started to walk to my next class and saw Michelle waiting for me I put my stuff near my desk and walked with her to the lunch line. I wasn't so hungry so I just got a soda.

"You're not hungry?" Michelle asked looking at me with concern.

"No, I feel sorta queasy" I said holding my stomach.

"Oh, well I'm gonna eat fast so we could talk okay?" she said walking over to our table.

"Okay" I said.

     Watching the people pass by and sit down with their friends I started to think how depressed Kyle must be the person he loved is missing. Does she know? Have they had a secret relationship? All these questions started to race through my head maybe they did and she never came around to tell us.

"Hey you finished?" Michelle asked me pointing to my soda, I nodded.

     Throwing our food away me and Michelle started to walk around the school until we stopped at the little meadow this school had and just lied on the grass looking at the sky.

"Everything OK?" she asked.

"Yeah" I said still looking up at the sky..

"You think about Jessie?" she asked, and that was when I looked at her my eyes huge.

"W-what you just say?" I asked, she never talked about Jessie since she disappeared.

"I don't know I just have this feeling that you're thinking about her" she said still looking up at the sky and not meeting my eyes.

"I think about her all the time" I said looking back at the sky.

"I want to think about her, but I get too sad" she said hoarsely.

"Do you think she is still alive?" I asked.

"No... I don't think so" she said tonelessly.

"Why?" I asked.

"Sam be realistic for a moment... it has been three months and no new clues have lead to her there is nothing found" she said, I couldn't believe she said that it was only three months it hasn't been that long Jessie was smart and she would find a way to stay alive I know it.
