{ Syo and Kaoru } Brother Rivalry

"Kaoru!" I yelled out to the blonde.

He whipped around with a calm smile and immediately stopped walking the direction he was and began walking down the hallway towards me. "Hey ___-chan, I was actually just looking for you." His smile was infectious and I soon found myself smiling back.

"So what are you doing now anyway?" I asked. "You've seen happy all day today, especially in our biomedical class."

Kaoru's smile widened slightly. "My brother is going to be in town today so we're going to meet in a little bit."

My eyes widened. "Syo's in town?!" I practically yelled. "You must be soooo happy to see him!"

"I am, he's grown so much and has already become a well known idol and here I am still in school." Kaoru sighed with his smile faltering ever so slightly.

I couldn't help but to laugh while patting his back. "You are in medical school my friend and so am I. It takes forever for us to graduate."

Kaoru grabbed my hand and interlaced our fingers as he led me around our school some. "Anyways." He chuckled. "I was looking for you to see if you'd like to meet him."

My eyes widened ever so slightly. "You want me to meet your twin brother?" I asked, completely shocked. "That's like, I'm meeting one of your family members, who happens to be a popular idol, and you're asking ME?!"

His laugh calmed me down some as we left our school building. "I would love for you to meet Syo. He's my brother so I want him to like you and vice versa. He is one of the most important people in my life after all."

"You're making it sound like we're dating and you want me to meet your parents..." I mumbled under my breath.

"You say something ___-chan?"

"Nothing!"

Kaoru and I joked about be entire time he led me around the city our college campus is located in. Not many people really noticed him surprisingly. You'd think he'd be mobbed by fangirls or something, being mistaken as Syo is a possibility, but clearly that doesn't happen which is a little strange.

Thinking back, I've actually heard quite a bit about Syo. The older twin who's shorter than Kaoru and sadly has a heart problem that will only get worse as time progresses. He and Kaoru used to be really close. I always hear stories about how they would go to violin competitions together, though it was always Syo who won or this other boy named Natuski (pretty sure he's the one who's also in ST☆RISH but I'm not positive...). Kaoru absolutely adores Syo and that's a bit of the reason behind him going into the medical field to begin with.

Wanting nothing more than for Syo to get better and be happy.

"What are you thinking about?" Kaoru asked with a soft smile as he lightly tightened his grip on my hand to gain my attention.

I glanced over to him with a soft smile of my own. "About you and Syo."

Kaoru laughed at that. "What about us?" He asked with a slightly goofy grin.

"Probably something along the lines of that we're perfect." A voice similar to Kaoru's spoke up from in front of us.

We turned to look ahead only to see a slightly shorter boy with blonde hair, blue eyes, a spot on outfit, and overall amazing aura standing before us. Kaoru didn't say anything as he let my hand go and ran to give Syo a big hug. It was cute seeing them reunite after so long of being separated like they've been.

Once they separated, Syo threw one of his arms around Kaoru's shoulder and gave me a bright smile. "I'm Kurusu Syo, Kaoru's older bro, nice to meet you!" He chirped.

I bowed and gave him a small smile. "___ ___, a friend of your brothers and I attend the same school as him."

"So your ___-chan!" Syo stated before pushing Kaoru away and wrapping me up in a tight embrace. "He talks about you all the time."

"Shut it." Kaoru laughed as he pried his twin off of me. "No touching Syo."

The blonde idol pouted. "Aw, whatever happened to you and I always sharing? Didn't you say that your main priority in life was me being happy?"

Kaoru sighed. "It is, honest. But ___ is someone I just wanted you to meet, not to hand over."

"Oh really now?"

"Yes really."

"Is Kaoru getting a little scared that I might steal his girlfriend away?"

"We're not dating!"

"Sure your not." Syo mocked with a playful roll of his eyes and a toothy grin.

"Gosh I don't understand how we're related sometimes." Kaoru sighed while glancing to his brother with a smile of his own.

Syo burst into fits of laughter at that as I just giggled at their sibling rivalry. "Kaoru-kun and I aren't dating Syo-kun." I reassured.

"Then you wouldn't mind possibly going out on a date with me then right?" Syo asked with a cheeky grin.

"Syo!" Kaoru yelled.

His twin just smiled innocently. "What? Natuski hasn't gotten off my back lately and I want to go out there and find a nice girl."

"Then date your nice composer." Kaoru sighed before glancing over to me. "Or do you want to go out with him?" He then asked with a somewhat sad smile.

My mind raced at the question. I've thought about dating Kaoru, yes, but Syo is seriously someone I wouldn't mind going out with either. Oh this is just unfair. Twins fighting over me? Me of all people?! I'm just some nerd who's studying to become a doctor and here I have a bright student and his idol twin brother both seeming to fight over me? This is just something completely out of the ordinary and I don't know what to do.

First off... Who do I even choose?!
