I Think I'm In Love With A Vampire

 So there I was just sitting in my room reading Song Of The Sparrow, considering I had nothing better to do. I was in a little ball in the corner of my bed under the covers. "Vanessa darling Zayn is here.He wants to know if you want to head out." ,my mother said as she knocked on my door. "Tell him I'll be down in a minute mom." I said as I picked up my high tops and slid my feet into them. I could here my mom walking down the stairs.I then ran downstairs as fast as I could. I went to the door and there he was my best friend. "Hey want to go to the place." he said as he chuckled. "Yeah lets go." I said smiling. Ever since third grade we went to this field next to the woods ,we called it the place. "Hey so you know Anna from home room?" he asked. "Zayn everyone knows who she is." I said as I rolled my eyes. "Well she asked me out. I said yeah." he said as a the grin on my face vanished. "Oh, thats cool," I said with a fake smile. I honestly really like him but I'm nothing compared to her. "But I won't go unless you want me to." he said. "You can go it's fine I said holding back tears.Finally we reached the place. "I bet I can catch you." he said as he grinned as big as the Cheshire cat. I dashed off. We pranced through the field like we had no worries. I wasn't that far ahead so I started to pick up speed. Suddenly Zayn tackled me. He began to tickle me. "No!Stop!Please!" I yelled in between laughs. "Never!" he yelled. After about ten minutes he stopped.We both sat up." Hey you hungry?" he asked as he reached into his backpack. "A little,what you got?'' I answered. He then through me a bag of rolo's which are my favorite. He both lay down and watched as the sun began to set while eating the rolo's. Zayn took a glance at his watch, "Oh man I have to go." he said as he jumped up. "For what? Oh, I remember.I have to go to the library any ways." I said as we both began to walk oppisite ways. I jogged home as tears ran wildley down my face. I opened the door and ran upstairs and slammed my bedroom door open and then closed. "Terra will know what to do." I said as I walked to the computer and requested face time with Terra. She is the only other friend I have. She excepted. "Hey V what's , oh my god what happened?" she said with a look of worry in her eye. "It's Zayn. He he ditched for his date with Anna." I said as more tears ran down my face. "Anna from home room?" she asked. I nodded. Terra is the only one who knows about my crush on Zayn so she understood why I was so upset. "I can't believe him. I thought he liked you." she said as she shook her head. "Terra look at me and compare me to Anna." I said wiping tears from my face. "I will. Your nice she's rude, your smart she knows nothing, you awesome she is a jerk. See he has every reason to have chosen you." said Terra as she smiled. "Terra it's late and we have school tomorrow." I said. "Okay goodnight." she said and then ended the chat. I changed in to my pajamas and got cozy under my covers and I fell straight to sleep.
