"Why on Earth are we going to a cemetery at one in the morning?" Eric asks, walking cautiously behind me.

"So we can get eaten by zombie! What do you think?"

Way to get him to like you, dummy.

"Nine one one? Yes, I'm with beautiful mad woman." Eric jokes.

Beautiful. I can't-he called me-wow.

"Anyway, the rest of the wishes are great to do in a cemetery and I've always wanted to go in the middle of the night." I explain quickly.

Way to be normal, dummy.

"That totally makes sense." Eric rolls his eyes as we approach a city map.

He's adorable.

"Do you think they'll be open?" I ask, turning to Eric.

Why is he so tall. God, I hate being short.

"I don't know, Naomi." He sighs, looking past me at the map. I look up at him, smiling. He runs his finger along the map and then nods.

"Do you know where we're going?" He looks down at me and nods, smiling.

BeatBeatBeat.

"I'm pretty sure the place will be open too." He chuckles.

"Yes! Yay! Woo-hoo!" I jump around, cheering.

"Calm down, Ruth." He smiles, laying a hand on my shoulder.

BeatBeatBeat.

"Okay, okay. I'm calm." I take a deep breath, shrugging off his hand.

"Shall we go, m'lady?" He offers his hand and smiles.

Never mind. Abort calmness. He's offering his hand. Error, feelings are confusing.

"We shall." I take his hand. "Lead the way."

"Alright." He takes off in one direction, laughing while running with me.

Oh my, this is really happening.

Both our palms get sweaty and as far as I'm concerned, my heart is the only one that's beating faster than it should. We run and run and run, racing past the empty parked cars and and flickering street lights. We slow down at every intersection and we both look out for cars before running hand in hand again.

My hand is holding his.

Wow, I really do like him.

We finally make it to the cemetery gates, completely out of breath. Eric pushes the gate and by some sick luck, it opens.

This is really happening.

We quickly make it inside and look around. Eric looks around cautiously while I linger back, admiring the beauty of the dead six feet under. Eric makes quick and sudden movements, appearing almost scared.

Do it. Do it. Do it.

I slowly walk behind him, making as little sound as possible. Two more steps. One more step. I stand on my toes and take a deep, but quiet, breath. I quickly breath warm air on his neck, "here's Johnny!" I whisper by his ear.

Eric screams, jumping and shaking. He turns around to see me, practically pissing myself from laughter. "Not funny, Naomi Ruth."

"Oh, wow. My full name. I wouldn't be speaking Eric Gage Levitt."

"You scared the living crap out of me!"

"Didn't you know I would do that?"

"I should've known."

This is fun.
