"Wendy," Lana whimpered. "Please don't leave me."
Lana Winters was supposed to be considered a sick homosexual. Wendy taught a class full of adorable children. She couldn't live without them.
"God damn it Lana. If you wouldn't have told Mary Ann that we were homosexuals, we wouldn't be in this place right now. I lost everything. My job. Now I'm losing you. I can't handle this anymore. I'm leaving."
And with that, Wendy slammed the door shut and left Lana's life forever. Or so she thought.

A day had passed. Lana hadn't slept or eaten. Her stomach hurt so badly- so she dashed to her bathroom. She puked up blood. After she flushed the toilet, she looked up and realized that Wendy had left a picture of them on their vacation in New York. Lana smashed the frame into 10,000 tiny pieces, making her fingers and hand bleed. She didn't care anymore. Fuck, she had just lost the love of her life. A sick- frightened homosexual would never be loved by anyone, Lana thought.
"I can't handle this anymore," Lana screeched, making her throat burn with rage. She needed release. And fast.

After Lana had cleaned up the mess she made, she prepared herself for what was to come next.
"I'll go to a bar." Lana thought.
She stepped out the door, feeling the fresh air on her pale, sweaty skin. She loaded her items and purse into her car and set off for a bar.

As she arrived, she heard the sound of clanking bottles and music. Many women were dancing, dancing to their hearts content.
A flashback came to Lana's mind.
On their trip to New York, Wendy suggested they go to a bar. Lana gladly accepted the invitation and joined Wendy. That night, Wendy and Lana confessed their love for each other.
As the jazzy music played, Wendy swept Lana into her arms.
"I never thought I could feel this for any woman, Lana. I love you."
Lana backed out of Wendy's arms. She could feel people's stares burning into her back. Of course, she was a homosexual. Homosexuality was frowned upon, and she thought it unfair. Lana knew how much she loved Wendy.
"Wendy, I love you so much," Lana said as she swept Wendy back into her embrace.
Suddenly, that moment became only about them two. She didn't care who the hell was staring at them- love was love.

Now on her 6th drink, Lana felt extremely dazed and confused. Love was love Lana thought. Why the hell couldn't Wendy love her? The flashbacks started again- the moment they first met, when they first made love, and when Wendy shattered Lana's heart into a million pieces. She couldn't take it anymore. She suddenly felt dizzy and dropped to the floor.
