Katelyn POV:
After the funeral, everyone left as I asked, as I felt I was going to cry all the tears of my body. I felt Travis's soft lips embrace my neck, telling me these words " I miss Grayson as if he were my son."

These words rang back and forth in my head. Did he want to make of ourselves a family? I shed a few tears, but Travis wiped them away and hugged me passionately. I lay my lips on his. I pick up my jacket and say to my brothers " I need to head to work, ill be back as soon as I can. I love you guys."

Travis POV:
Just before she left, these words escaped my mouth: Ill take care of the boys, they'll pass a great day with me. Her face lightens up. " You would be a great father. I love you. "

I first brought them to the park, we played soccer together, and went to get ice cream. I asked Kai: "What would you think of me as a dad?" They stare at me for a while. "Get to the point." Kai said, rolling his eyes.

" I want your sister as my wife. And you guys as my brothers-in-law, or even my sons." as I pulled out a ring in the shape of a crown, with a shiny sapphire in the middle. They were stunned by how serious I was.

"Are you joking? Do you know how shocked she would be, and you dare play her emotions around like that. SHE LOST OUR YOUNG BROTHER!" Kai was practically infuriated by my actions. I felt horrible for what I thought was a good choice. " But I love Katelyn dearly and I can see you're not ready to have me in your life. I am a fool." as a tear rolls down my face, thinking of how stupid I was.

"Erggh, sorry Travis for yelling at you, I got carried away. I loved Grayson, im sure you just wanted Katelyn's good after all." Kai said as we fistbump and taps me on the shoulder. " We are glad you are our father!" the boys said. We all hugged and settled back home.

Katelyn POV :
" Im hoooomme!" I yelled. The boys were there, but not Travis. " Katelyn, Travis said you should go to the lake, he's waiting for you. We'll be fine, go have fun." I blushed, thinking of Travis' emerald eyes and sparkling smile. " You are the best brothers ever" , as I hugged them as much as I could before getting dressed.

I put on a white and brown flannel shirt, a pair of shorts and some flatops. I was nervous. It felt like a crucial chapter of our love life was to be written. Ive walked to the lake, dreaming of Travis and his perfect body...

Travis POV:
Katelyn arrived, and she seemed more beautiful than ever. It was like I rediscovered loving Katelyn. " Hey baby, its nice seeing you here." " Oh my god Travis, still the same cheesy pickup lines I see, hmmm." We sat down by the lake, enjoying sandwiches Travis made, and cuddled, staring at each others eyes, and occasionaly kissed. I wished that moment would never end.

Katelyn POV :
Travis suddenly talked " Do you believe in Destiny? " " I sure do." " Because I feel we were made to be together, ever since your ice blue gaze caught mine at the café, I knew we were made to be together. " I blushed madly. " For once, you are right." Travis passes his hand in my hair. "Katelyn FireFist, says he while kneeling, I want to pass my entire life with you." He pulls a velvet box the size of a hand. " Will you be my wife for eternity?" I stare in to his marvelous eyes, tear up and yell "Omg, yes, ive waited so long for this!!!" I pounce on him, and kiss him in almost an aggresive way...

Thank you for reading my first chapter of hopefully a long alternative story to a prewritten story. I hope the original author loves it and who knows, might inspire herself for the followup.
