Nightmares.

Eren's P.O.V

"AH" I shout.

I wake up from the dream I was just having as I start to shake violently and try to catch my breath. I jump when I hear a loud knock on the door.

"Eren? are you okay? can I come in? I'm coming in." A voice speaks

I stay quite as she makes her way towards my bed, I put my head in my hands and continue to shake as tears stream down my face like a waterfall. Mikasa my adopted sister sits at the foot of my bed and even though I can't see her due to my head being tilted down as I stare at the snow white bed sheets I know that's she's staring at me.

"another one huh?"she asks

I slowly remove my hands and look at her tears still falling down my face with no end in sight and before I know it I start sobbing, She pulls me into a tight and loving hug and I start crying harder as she whispers sweet nothings in my ear and rubs my back in a circular motion trying to calm me down.

Soon enough my crying slowes down and before I know it I had fallen into yet another sleep the dark consuming me just like that nightmare.

Mikasa's P.O.V

'Eren' I think to myself as I lay him back down, I get up and pull the covers up and around his body.

I turn to leave closing the door as quietly as possible. I walk to my room and sit on my bed thinking, Eren has always had nightmares like that just about every night and each one worse than the last but this time was different last time he woke up screaming and yelling.

I wonder what kind of dream's he gets they must be really bad because ever since our parent's died he hasn't cried, since than he rarely shows any emotion now just annoyance,irritation and last but not least......Anger.

He started having these dream three months after the funeral and that was a year ago. I look at the digital clock on my nightstand it read 3:20am the red numbers blink repeatedly as I lay back down but I don't sleep as I listen for eren, minutes go by and I feel my eyes lids start to close and I don't fight it as I slowly drift into a quiet sleep.

Eren's p.o.v (again)

I wake up to the sun shining brightly though the curtains of my window I sigh and put my head in my hands, after sitting there like that for a few minutes I sigh yet again and get out of my bed.

I grab some random clothes and go to my bathroom that is connected to my room after my like 20 min shower I put a towel around my waist and another on my shoulders so I don't get water anywhere and exit the bathroom. I hear a soft knock on the door and before I get a chance to answer the door swings open and Mikasa's face turns 50 shades of red and looks away pulling her red scarf up and across her red cheeks.

"Eren put some clothes on"she says.

"Well Mikasa, if you waited for me to answer I would have told you not to come in yet." I snap.

She nods and closes the door silently, I put on the clothes from earlier and walk toward the kitchen, Mikasa was sitting on the couch in the living room across from the kitchen I make me a bowl of cereal and sit next to her.

"hey" I said.

"hey" she said back in her monotone voice.

"look i'm sorry okay"I mumble out.

"what are you sorry for?"she asks.

Her monotone voice makes me somewhat uneasy but I can see the small smile tugging at her lips.

"I'm sorry for snapping at you" I groan out.

"It's fine, but do you mind telling me what your dream was about this time?" she then asks.

She looks at me with worry in her eyes I look down at my bowl of cereal trying my best to remember after a few long minuets I sigh, I can't remember a thing.

" I'm sorry, I can't remember Mikasa"I say glumly.

Her eyes never left my face, I looked back up and at the clock hanging on the wall and started to panic as I realized that I only had 10 minutes left to get to work so I quickly finished my cereal, put it in the sink and grabbed well more like snatched my coat of the hanger.

I grabbed my keys,phone,wallet as well as my eyepatch, quickly putting it on and I was out the door after I said bye to mikasa because she would kill me if I didn't.

TIME SKIP~~at work~~

I work at the public library with my best Friend Armin, he would not stop asking and mikasa wasn't helping either so I took the job and I honestly don't regret it.

I walked through the door and was greeted by a certain bright blue eyes boy.

"Morning Eren" Armin said happily with a smile.

"morning" I greet.

I walked to the back and entered the door for 'employees only' by the book holds section I clocked in and grabbed a box of books that need to be retuned.

I grab a couple books and walk towards the right shelf, About 20 minutes later I finished re-shelfing and as I was walking away I accidentally bump into someone and I gasp.

"I am so sorry" I say apologetically.

I bowed my head repeatedly and after not hearing a response I look up and my blue-green eye meet with the steel grey ones staring at me his lips slightly parted in shock, his raven black hair slightly covering his eyes I give him a questioning look and tilt my head slightly.

"Is there a problem sir" I ask politely.

My voice laced with concern as he just stared at me for a few more seconds before he blinked twice, he open his mouth to say something but quickly shut it before he opened It again and in a soft but husky voice he said.....

"Eren is that really you".

Aaaaaaand I'm stopping there, sorry but it's a school night and tbh I'm tired as hell I had one hell of a time making this but eh. Anyway so it seems Levi remembers eren but does eren remember his past lover? stay tuned for the next update. baiiiiii 😋😘 thanks for reading.
