I saw him...I fell in love again.

I'm Louise, a college student. I'm a nerd, a consistent dean's lister and now I'm sitting here in the library when my long time love appeared in the table just across mine. He noticed me and smiled. And now, he's approaching me. Good Lord, stop my heart!

He's Charles. A classmate and friend of mine. But he is quite famous for being a member of the student body. He is also a basketball varsity player. No wonder many girls are galling at his feet just to gain his attention.

He's too handsome. The school heartthrob...a boy who can steal your heart with just a glance. And no, I won't dare tell him I fell for his wit, his charm, his good heart. I'm not blessed to be his friend and for now, that will be enough. For now, I'm happy with that.

"Hey Louise, I've been looking for you ever since this morning.", he said as soon as he sat beside me.

I raised my eyebrows," Oh? Why?"

I noticed him fidgeting. "Ahm.."

"Out with it Charles!" I said to him.

"Can you be my date for the acquaintance party?", he said too suddenly without looking at me.

My eyes got wide. I think my ears are deceiving me. "What's that again?" I asked him.

He looked at my eyes before answering"I said, can you be my date for our party this Friday?"

"Why me?," I said before covering my mouth. Yeah, I just can't believe it.

He laughed. The librarian shushed us. "Because I've been in love with you ever since."

Okay...now my heart won't stop at all.

"Stop playing games Charles," I told him.

"Why would I follow you always if I don't like you to fall for me?, " he smiled again. "Now, will you be my date then let me court you after?"

I just nodded. I still can't believe it. But hey, let me get my hopes up. Who knows? Maybe things will get better.
