7:30am. It's another bright sunny day for Harwood County. Our favorite heroes are getting ready in the halls.
Gia, the yellow ranger, had her bag on her back while getting her books. Emma, the pink ranger had walked up to her best friend with a bag of her own.
"Hey Gia." Emma said cheerfully as usual.
"Hey Emma." Gia replied.
"Ready for Mr. Connor's test?" Emma asked.
"Yeah, wow, of all teachers, I'd actually like to be late for his class. " Gia responded.
Both girls chuckled and made their way down the hall to C-39, Mr.Connor.

Noah, the blue ranger, was carrying his books from his locker. Next period was about to start and he wanted to be prepared. As he walked in the hallway,
"Hey Noah how's it going?!"
It was his best friend Jake, the green/black ranger. He was always the jock type while Noah was the geeky type, but neither of them cared.
"Hey Jake, a little help here?" Noah asked.
"Sure." Jake replied.
Noah passed some of the books to Jake. They chatted down the hall, since they weren't in a rush.
"So, why all the books, it's just Mr.Connor. He gives out tests like every week." Jake stated.
"Yeah, but this one is just as important as the others. You don't get into Harvard with D's and F's you know." Noah explained.
"True, but it's one bad grade. It won't kill you." Jake argued.
"Yeah, unless you've gotten nothing but A's and B's, which I have." Noah retorted.
"Man, you gotta chill out bro! You might want to do pie r square than eat actual pie." Jake laughed.
Noah had laughed too. That made him feel much better about this test. Though he always felt competitiveness when it came to Gia, her being the smartest girl at school. Maybe he would score higher and become valedictorian. But let's not push it, it's still the beginning of senior year.
